She was the raven. It is pretty ridiculous. There isn't a family on earth with this kind of racial diversity or this high percentage of LGBT members. Also, it is impossible to believe that Roderick is the biological father of three of these kids. There is nothing wrong with having a diverse cast, but basic biology still exists. Why not just say that they were adopted? It is quite silly. I've seen this on a lot of shows in recent years. In real life only a small percentage of women are lesbians/bisexual. On modern tv it is somewhere around 50%. Inclusion does not make him vomit. The new Oscar diversity rules make him vomit. He sees the rules as a way of restricting artistic freedom. That does not mean that he is against inclusion. He just doesn't support this particular method of achieving it. In the interview where he made these comments, he also called Trump an idiot several times. His brother was 300K in debt. It was assumed that he had blown all the money, but he actually hid it in the cans. Not sure how he got the cans resealed. Totally agree. When they start telling the stories it kills the momentum of the show. With that said, I didn't mind the story about the garage. That one at least fit the tone of the show. They kids sing the Green Day song Good Riddance which came out in 1997 so it can't be any earlier than that. I agree about season 5. Really, after Terminus the show went downhill. I thought the hospital storyline in the second half of season 5 was bad and unnecessary. Then when they got to Alexandria and met all the other communities, it just seemed to lose it. The show worked better in the early seasons with a smaller group. The finale was disappointing. It reminded me of why I stopped watching the show a few seasons ago. You would think they could have done something great with the finale, but because of all the spinoffs the finale didn't really conclude anything. A proper finale would have at least seen Rick reunited with Judith. Even though Andrew Lincoln left the show years ago, Rick will always be the main character. When they show was at its peak, it was Rick's story. I always thought a good way to end the show would be with Rick, Daryl, and the gang about to fight in some epic battle only to find out that just a few miles from where they are the country has been reestablished. A cure for the zombie virus has been found and deployed all over, but for whatever reason where Rick's people are is the last place that gets liberated. I agree. In season 1 and season 11 the zombies had these extra abilities but for all seasons in between they did not. Why would they get back these abilities so many years later. The post credit scene took place in France at the beginning of the outbreak. That wouldn't explain why the zombies in North America had this ability, then lost it, then got it back after such a long time. I think the show just changed it up to try to get people interested again. It really is boring. They are now 8 episodes in. The original series was truly compelling by this point. I think the main issue with this show is that it revolves around such a small group of characters. In the original show's format, the HOTD story would have been just one of about ten stories that were unfolding at the same time. It definitely felt like a series finale. The only things that haven't been resolved are what Kreese will do now that he has escaped prison, and who Tory's parents are. I think Kreese will find that his girlfriend is still alive, and he will reconnect with her and become a nicer guy. Maybe even make amends with Daniel and Johnny. Tory's mom is almost certainly going to be Hilary Swank. She's pretty much the only character who hasn't returned and they've been playing this out since the second season. Otherwise, I have no idea what next season will be about. Everything else has been resolved. Agreed. That was pretty ridiculous. I just finished season three. I don't think they were ever mentioned again. Another question is, how did the kids explain to the doctors what happened to her? Did they say this was a result of the earthquake? Otherwise, it would be very difficult for the kids to explain why she was so seriously injured. The hospital would probably call the police and the kids would be suspects in an abuse/attempted murder case. She will definitely wake up. If her character was going to die, then they would have just killed her off. Most mass shooters continue to be people over 21. There have been a few high-profile cases recently where the shooter was under 21, but overall they still tend to be older. Also, how does raising the purchase age to 21 (either temporarily or permanently) work constitutionally? The California Supreme Court has already ruled that raising the age to 21 is unconstitutional. The US Supreme Court would almost certainly rule the same way. Are they going to pass a constitutional amendment to raise the gun purchasing age to 21? If they did a trial, what would be the end game? Obviously if adults under 21 have their right to buy guns taken away then we will see a reduction in mass shootings by people under 21. There would however still be an epidemic of people over 21 carrying out mass shootings just like there is today. After the trial there would be calls to raise the age to 25, 30, 40. The silly thing is that adults who are 18 can't buy a beer. They can vote, join the military, buy an AR15, get married, and be on the hook when they sign for tens of thousands of dollars' worth of student loans. They are old/wise enough for all of those things. No beer though, that would be outrageous. I think the beer thing comes down to the fact that there is no particular lobby who wants to get behind lowering the drinking age, so it was easy to take that right away. The NRA can use the 2nd and 26th amendments as its basis for setting the gun purchasing age at 18. The 2nd talks about the right to bear arms and the 26th gives 18 year olds the right to vote, which strongly implies that 18 year olds are adults. Also, after the bomb went off, Batman was transported to the police station, not the hospital. He was lying unconscious on a table in a room full of cops, but nobody lifted his mask to see who he is.
