And the poor guy got his lovely artist studio apartment trashed... twice! It's like they made sure every single piece of furniture would be used as a cudgel, and every vase got smashed. The ending to the second fight was kind of what you would expect given the configuration of the place, not to give anything away. I'm glad I'm not the only one to have thought this! He does appear in that scene indeed, and is very recognisable. I imagine they added him to add some color, or for some comic relief, but it ended up being very odd and slightly out of place. Definitely her voice, and this is the first time she sang on film. The Occupation did tear families apart. Think of the father as an old fashioned Petain loyalist, and the daughter as an active member of the Resistance, sold to the ideas and the appeal of the Allied coalition. What we saw was probably his breaking point. These things did happen. There isn't a doctor in this one. There is one scene where they are standing outside a Dr Morgan's office while Michelle being examined, but we never get to see the actual doctor. And it does get to laugh, albeit briefly, with his signature laugh (haaa haaa haaa haaa). Not to mention a stalking murderer dressed as a woman! She gets shot in the shoulders, from what we can see, which is often code for being hit in a non lethal way. The doctor says that Bucky McLean will be ok, and it looks like Doll will be too, it's her redemption. We never get a clear shot of his face when he is doing the contortioning. My bet is that it was a stunt double who was made up to look like Charles Halton, although I can't be sure. View all replies >
