The issue is hardworking people who can't buy their way in get screwed over. lol triggered Matt? My bad, missed the "if" in your response. What was the movie? Yep. Apparently you can't. Good day. "The tough thing is, however, let's just say Japan remakes The Godfather, it will no longer take place in New York but in Japan which is changing the source material itself." It's like The Departed being a remake of Asian Foreign Affairs, the cast is way different. I asked because I find some people who complain about one side, tend to out themselves as hypocrites e.g. triggered over blackwashing, and then defend whitewashing. Funny you bring up a comparison like that. Let me give you another example. Do you get as worked up about "blackwashing" as you do about "whitewashing?" "The story has, so far, been crap and the script tries way too hard to be edgy, like “Titans” and the latest season of “Young Justice”." Doesn't that line mean that you thought YG 3 was trying "too hard to be edgy?" So you wouldn't complain as much if they introduced a character who is gay in the comics? I find the "I like diversity as long as it's not forced" crowd don't need much to view it as forced. I remember watching Batman:Bad Blood and reading some troll complaining about forced homosexuality in Katherine Kane's story, even though she is lesbian in the comics too. Btw, the "forced" scene was a three minute scene of her flirting with another girl. YG season 3 was edgy to you? Why does it bother you so much? "DC doesn't need gags to be good, they gave up on the brand too easily and went the Marvel route. Nothing wrong with what Marvel does, but the two aren't interchangeable." "Dark and gritty can be done well. Without Nolan, DC seems incapable of this." Amen, so sick of the mentality a superhero movie has to be light to be good. They didn't have a tracker on Atlanna though. They had a lot of ground to cover to find her. "They just don't want right wingers going on there and upsetting their world view talking about biology or something and exposing that it's really the left who hates science." Care to elaborate? "I think the point may be that these Whisperers come across people and they are so horrific that they either kill them of they join up. They are probably afraid to run away, it's not that they want to stay." Also true. The hairstyles are what get me. Lol sorry that emancipation or freedom from an abusive relationship (in the comics and in deleted scenes) bothers you. Didn’t know leaving abuse behind is something that only woke people do. I thought that was something most people could agree on. Lol but it's not the truth, that's my point. Why do you think the title is an attempt to be "woke?" Triggered because the title has nothing to do with being woke and yet your mind went there. Like I said, it's just trying to capture Harley's personality (not saying I'm a fan of it). Triggered much? I don't think it has anything to do with wokeness or PC, or any other buzz words. It's just meant to capture Quinn's personality (although they might have overdone it).
