Of course the gun is the most effective and easiest way to kill someone. The dagger is the next most effective. However, the other four weapons have the advantage of silence. A gunshot would be heard throughout the house, and someone being stabbed would be able to scream. But cracking someone over the head with the wrench, candlestick, or lead pipe could be done in near silence. And the first shot would most likely knock the victim unconscious. The subsequent blows would kill them. The rope is the least effective weapon. Not only do you need to be close to the person, but it takes a long time. And all the while the victim would be kicking and trying to fight you off and making a lot of noise. Doesn't the one female detective say, "But Walter, they don't allow trucks on the FDR!!!" https://screencraft.org/2018/03/09/do-you-know-the-five-different-types-of-plot-holes/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plot_hole According to the article, this could be considered either a factual error, or a continuity error. Most likely it was due to the writers forgetting that this movie takes place a year after the first one, and not in the year it was filmed (4 years later). So yes, this would be a plot hole. But it's a very minor one and shouldn't distract from the many other absurdities that plague this dreadful movie. I think they did. Noah was reluctant to let her in, but he did, and as soon as she sat down, she started giving him the eye. If he gave in and took the easy lay, it would explain why he wasn't as focused on studying as much as he needed to be. And Noah was the kind of guy who would blame a girl for his bad grade, even though he was more than willing to nail her. Notice afterwards that Caitlin's disposition about college life immediately improved. And maybe Noah decided to dump Meadow so abruptly afterwards due to the guilt of it, on top of her immaturity and racist family. Which is funny because part of being the "Dwight" is inaccurately thinking you're the "Jim". He is the lefts version of Trump. They're mirror images of each other. So, people on the right hate him for his views and abrasiveness. And most people on the left would rather he just shut up, even though they mostly agree with him. Just announced for 2024. Putting aside inheritance and the business, yes, I do believe that Fred would have mourned for his uncle. We've all had family members who weren't very kind to us, or for whatever reason we weren't very close too. Many times, they're older and are struggling with their last days and maybe lash out at younger family. And when they pass, we still try to remember something nice about them. If there were any good times with them, or maybe you'll mourn for the people who did have good memories of them. While Fred wouldn't have any real nice memories of his uncle, he would mourn because he would know that his mother would have been saddened by her brother's death. Or because he was never able to have a relationship with his uncle like his mother would have wanted. As far as Fred getting the news in time for a funeral, I'm sure he would have. Cratchit would have ensured he was notified as soon as possible. And Scrooge, while not very popular, was well known in the community. The people at Fred's party knew of him and his relation to Fred. So whatever business Fred was in, he and Scrooge did have some mutual business acquittances, and word would have gotten to him. She never sought out more attention than she wanted. She kept her private life very private. When someone did ask about her private life, she didn't answer. After a while people got the hint. On top of that, I think the media and most of the public did cut her some slack after the John Hinkley situation. She was very young and probably felt some guilt over the fact that the President and several others got shot by some psycho who wanted to impress her. So, she probably became very guarded at that point, and everyone understood why and seldom pressed her on it. If you consider careers before Mean Girls, she was the most successful. All 3 of the Plastics had fantastic careers. Who had the best career, or who is doing better right now is debatable, but you can make a case for any of them. But if you're going to say that Lohan had the best career or is doing the better than any of them right now, you cannot be more wrong. The only thing she has done better than the other girls is waste her potential. For the same reason he turned down what would have been at least a $25 million dollar purse to fight Drago for free in Moscow. Rocky was very impulsive and not very smart. Never even trimmed a hair her whole life. Just a full, thick, batch of bright red twist hair. She thinks she has it bad???!!! People have been saying mean things about Sarah Jessica Parker for over 20 years. And that was before she was old and covered in bad plastic surgery. I always wondered if maybe she felt she had been misled or exploited by this movie. When she signed on, she probably knew that it was an Ann Rice book and had a general sense of what it was about. But the movie was going to be different. It was going to be a comedy with Aykroyd and O'Donnell, and Gerry Marshall was directing. He had already done several projects that helped women in movies, including Pretty Woman which was sexual but in a lighthearted and tasteful way. But as filming started, she started to realize that this movie was going be different. Not only were the sex scenes raunchier and more graphic, but she was the only major star who was showing anything. And she was showing everything and most of the acts were being done to her (including having butter and cinnamon licked off her nipples). But by that point it was too late, they had already started filming and she couldn't risk breaching her contract, and jeopardizing future projects. So, she went forward as best as she could, but it was noticeable that she wasn't enjoying it. And even sadder is that his movie bombed, and the other stars were able to distance themselves from it, but she couldn't, and it derailed the momentum of her career at that time. Kristin Davis has already been nude in a movie this year. She obviously has no problem showing her body at her age. And she still looks good. https://www.aznude.com/view/movie/d/deadlyillusions.html I bet at least one of the women gets nude this season. Maybe more. And everyone will talk about how brave it was for a woman their age to be willing to show themselves. Of course, if it's Miranda or Carrie, we will have to pretend they looked good too, even though it was kind of gross even when they were younger. They also would have contacted the French authorities so as soon as they landed they would be there to help the McCallisters, and they wouldn't have to bombard the pay phones. Also they could have gotten an officer to the house much sooner than they did. And even if Kevin didn't open the door for them, Kate could give them permission to enter her home and insist that they do. I don't think the people living in the sewers wanted to take control of San Angeles. They just didn't want to live in such a mind-controlled society. So, they chose to live in the sewers and do what they want. The only reason they ever went above was because they needed to steal food. And occasionally they wanted to mess with them with some graffiti. Cocteau told the people of San Angeles that the people in the sewers were evil, and Edger Friendly was a terrorist that wanted to take over and destroy their city. But like he said, he was just a guy who just wanted to live the way he wanted to live, and occasionally had to steal food. Edger Friendly At least two Star Destroyers had left the Hoth system in pursuit of the Millenium Falcon. Other ships may have broken off the blockade to pursue other important Rebel ships. So, by the time Luke and the other X-Wing fighters took off, there were enough holes in the blockade for them to slide thru undetected. Also, it's possible that the Imperial blockade was rushed and not well coordinated, which led to Admiral Ozzell being relieved of his command. I doubt he respected Billy any more than he respected any of the other guys, besides Dutch. The Predator figured out early on that Dutch was the leader and the strongest, therefore the best trophy. While he was impressed with the other 6 guys, Dutch was the big buck for him, and he was only going to get his shot at him by killing the other guys. While he may have been impressed by Billy's challenge, and did oblige him by using his wrist claws, but ultimatley he did defeat Billy rather quickly. He probably was also impressed by Dillion who continued to fight, even after losing a limb. We do see the Predator disembowel Billy and clean off his skull, but we also see him put it in a bag with several other skulls. One of which had a large burn mark on the top, which we can probably assume was Mac. He also hung up Hawkins body, and snuck back into their camp to steal Blaine's body and carry it back. Andy. Especially at the end when the creators thought he was a huge star because of the Hangover movies, so they decided that he needed to replace Carell as the lead of the show, even though it made no sense for the character to jump up like that, and is big part of why the last two seasons really did not work.
