Why Do People Here Hate Him So Much?
By all accounts, what happened with the shooting was an accident. I don't understand why people here are so absolutely gleeful about him being in trouble?

Most people that hate him hated him before Trump was in the Whitehouse. Hell I thought he was worthless cunt when Trump was still some jackass on The Apprentice.
Baldwin's vile personality became pretty clear when he was calling his teenage daughter a pig and shit like that.
Alec's personality being vile was known by the general public well before the "rude little pig incident" and yet, he was left "uncancelled". Of the top of my head, his unprofessional behavior on the set of The Marrying Man and breaking a photographer's nose outside of his and Kim Basinger's house after their daughter, Ireland was born.

As for the cancel crap, the reality is the cancel culture didn't seem to exist until more recently.
Peewee Herman was cancelled in the 90's, Tiger woods, Mel Gibson, Michael Vick, Winona Rider after she shoplifted . . .there have been plenty who were cancelled before it became a hashtag.

At any rate most of those cancellations were because of criminal conduct. A bit like Hugh Grant getting passed over for a while because he was caught fucking a prostitute or George Michael because he was trying to jack off a cop in a public toilet.... And all these were not cancellations forever they were more like go stand in the corner for a while cancellations. Even Michael Vick came back which is pretty forgiven by the public given what he was cancelled for the first time.
