Why Do People Here Hate Him So Much?
By all accounts, what happened with the shooting was an accident. I don't understand why people here are so absolutely gleeful about him being in trouble?

shareHe doesn't seem like he's a very nice person in real life. Plus, conservatives hate his politics. It all adds up to when the guy has bad fortune, lots of people pile on. I personally have no beef with him, and the shooting was obviously an accident. The guy is a great actor that didn't get enough great parts in his prime, which was our loss as moviegoers.
shareThank you for this honest answer. It wasn’t very hard to figure it out from the comments I received. Basically they just come on this site to bash movies and actors . . .how fun. 🙄
shareYes, agreed. There are numerous actors that I don't agree with their politics, but who cares really. Tom Cruise has done some goofy stuff with religion and in interviews, but I still love his movies. People are letting politics run their lives these days.
shareExactly, I've always made a point of separating the art from the actor. I don't think I would enjoy movies at ALL if I had to agree with their politics.
shareHe murdered someone and now seems to think he’s the victim.
shareIf you accidentally killed someone under those circumstances, that would be EXTREMELY traumatic. Any feeling person would be a mess afterwards.
shareHe didn’t accidentally kill anyone, he ignored just about every basic rule of gun safety and because of his negligence someone is dead, he is a murderer and his feelings are the least important thing right now. The son of a bitch should be in jail.
shareI think it's because he was careless and just won't admit that. He knows, and we all know, he won't get charged with anything because of his status. He could simply say I pulled the hammer which discharged it, but it should have been blanks, but it wasn't. I think he feels guilty for his actions, as he should, but it seems he doesn't feel responsible for what happened and is attempting to deny it by saying I didn't pull the trigger or that he didn't point it a person which he clearly did because a person is dead and another got injured.
I guess there is that and his idiotic tweet about wrongfully killing someone.
