People were already suspicious that Pam and Tommy had intentionally "leaked" the tape and were profiting off of it. Pam made it clear in the lawyer's office that if they got any money from the tape, it would only add fuel to the fire that this was all intentional. She's probably looking at Britney's Instagram and saying, "If that lunatic can get out of her conservatorship, then there's no way I couldn't get out of mine." Because history has a funny way of repeating itself. In 1938, rather than forcing Hitler to give back the part of Czechoslovak he had taken, France and Great Britain decided to let him have it because he was promising not to take any more. They could have easy forced him out at that point, but nobody wanted another war, so they let it go. Five months later he took the rest of Czechoslovak. Seven months after that he invaded Poland, and the war was on. Putin won't stop with Ukraine. He undoubtable wants to rebuild the Sovit Union and will probably try to bring on some new countries as well. Then once he's powerful enough he will come after us. Unless the world is smart enough to learn from past mistakes and stop him now, while they can. If you think “no internet” is a weak ass excuse then I’ll going to guess you’re under 30 and don’t remember a world without it. Yes it’s a bit of a stretch that Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler hadn’t even heard rumors of some big project in Costa Rica. But I think a movie about dinosaurs being resurrected because of a mosquito requires the audience to make some stretches. It really shocks me how many people do not understand how the grail worked. Drinking from the grail once did not mean you would live forever. Nor did its effects wear off if you left the cave. The grail made your body healthier and would heal whatever wounds you may have had, or anything unhealthy about you at the time. For example, Indy might have been a year away from having a massive heart attack but drinking from the grail cleared his arteries. You would still age, and eventually die, but at a slower pace than normal, and in better health for longer. The only way the Grail would make you immortal would be if you drank from it every day, or on a regular basis, which is obviously what the Knight was doing. And even then, his body still aged, and he didn't have the strength to fight Indy. The Grail is the only thing that can't cross the great seal. Anyone who drinks from the Grail can cross the seal and leave the cave, and still have the benefits of having drank from it, but the Grail itself cannot cross the seal. So, when the Knight said, "That's the limit and price of immortality." he was saying that the only way to live forever would be to stay in the cave and drink from the Grail consistently like he did. Otherwise, when you left the cave without the Grail, you would eventually die, although it might not be for another century, like his brother who left the cave. Yes. Yes you are. Hawk, Robby, and Miguel would absolutely destroy Daniel. Not only have they all been trained in Miyagi style karate, but they are all experts in Cobra Kai karate, which means they know how and when to attack, but can still defend themselves. With the way Sam was starting to embrace Johnny's style, I could see a way she beats Daniel. Torrie would be a more interesting match. She wouldn't have the same defensive skills, but she was as explosive as the others. She reminds me the most of Mike Barnes, who is the second most likely candidate to be her father. Maybe he did get one in between 3 and 4, but we just didn't get to see it. My guess would be that Clubber didn't go back to his roots for training the way Rocky did and having been knocked out for the first time permanently took away a part of his edge and mystique. Apollo and Duke kept Rocky focused and in top shape, and he made quick work of Clubber, knocking him out in before the end of the second round. Reminiscent of Ali and Liston's rematch, but without the phantom KO punch. IV was always my personal favorite. But I would agree that III was more culturally significant. For example: III was the first move where Stallone was ripped. Hulk Hogan right before his career blew up. Mr. T right before the A-Team. The Eye of the Tiger Prince did not despise him. At times he even complimented Al's other work. He just had a strange over protection of his work, and seldom let anyone parody it. The event you're referring too was actually the AMA's, and many people got that note from Prince's management, including Weird Al. This may not have been a slight at Al as much as it was a part of his eccentricity. https://www.okayplayer.com/news/prince-weird-al-exclusive-excerpt-ben-greenman-interview.html Not mentioned in the article is that Prince always had a bit of a rivalary with Michael Jackson. And since Michael was a big fan of Al's and Al had made several hits out of Michael's songs, Prince may have felt like he would be following Jackson again. "$19.99" about a bargain retail store. Lets Go Crazy was going to be about the Beverly Hillbillies. He ended up using Dire Straits "Money For Nothing" instead and put it in his movie. When Gloves Dry. Bris. https://www.okayplayer.com/news/prince-weird-al-exclusive-excerpt-ben-greenman-interview.html Putting aside Merle for a moment, Michael and Tom both realized that Connie was not in the right state of mind to be making important life decisions. She obviously had never gotten over what had happened with Carlo and was still lashing out at her family over it. For months at a time she would disappear, not having any contact with her children. Michael mentions that she had just gotten divorced from one mistake and was already making another one. And to top it off, she obviously drinking way too much. And then there's Merle. The non-Italian man who had just met Connie and was already wanting to marry her. It's pretty clear that he doesn't have any money, because he has no shame in going to her brother to ask for some. Michael yells at Connie for hanging around men who treat her like a whore. I would add that they also see her as an ATM. So, Michael makes it clear to Connie that she won't be getting any money and will be cut off from the family if she marries him right then. We never see Merle again, so its a safe bet that he bailed once it became clear there wasn't going to be any money for him here. She probably has a staff of people who do everything they can to make sure she doesn't know about things like that. And they also realize that she is NOT talented, so they need to get her into any major movie they can. Because if she knew that the first movie goofed on her, she would never want to do the second one. Or she's just too stupid to realize they were insulting her. No Well, I guess we can all figure out at which part of the movie you got up to go to the bathroom. This show is definitely taking a page from pro wrestling, especially late 80's and early 90's. Which always included people turning face, no matter what they've in the past. Very common when a bad guy starts to become a fan favorite, and in many ways is a sympathetic character, and the good guys they are facing are becoming more and more unlikable. I absolutely believe Tori will be a "good guy" by the end of next year. She'll split from Cobra Kai and join Johnny and Robbie with whatever they do or will go to Myagi. Chozen may take her in and feel a kinship with her, since he was also a dastardly villain who straightened out his life and sought redemption. Then in the ultimate twist, Daniel and Sam are so livid at Chozen for letting Tori in, that they leave Myagi Dojo, and the LaRusso's marriage falls apart since Amanda has been supporting Tori. They vow revenge and want to take Myagi Dojo back, so they do the unthinkable... they make a deal with Terry Silver. In the '84 final Johnny drops a deliberate elbow into Daniels bad knee, and he is only given a warning for illegal contact. It may be a judgement call by the referee whether to deduct a point or not. Tori's elbow was obviously unintentional and did not affect Samantha's ability to continue. Johnny's was very intentional and done with malicious intent, and probably should have ended Daniel's ability to compete. Johnny is not the person who should be complaining about deducting points. I was referring more to the Halloween party. Daniel had the perfect costume. No one knew he was there, even when he was in the bathroom with the Cobra Kai. He and Ali were totally hitting it off, so he decides this will be the perfect time to screw with Johnny, who was busy rolling a joint in the stall. Had Daniel San just snuck out of the bathroom and rejoined Ali, he might have become "Daniel MAN" later that night. But instead, he screwed with Johnny and caught the worst beating yet and was lucky it wasn't worse. They were still doing that into the mid 2000's. Not sure about now.
