Yeah and hidin' Biden was against that.
He told us a "dark winter."
Shut up.
Voting by mail is a new phenomenon, most states did not have it before Covid. In addition to outright fraud, that's partly why it's so fucked up. States had no experience with how to administer mail in voting. So they're screwing it up. Absentee voting has been around forever, but there was no where near the volume of absentee ballots to count as there are these shotty "mail in ballots.". I'm against early voting and mail in voting. If you give a damn, you can show up in person and prove you are a legal voter.

Yeah the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies were good, it's too bad they don't make them anymore. Instead, Hallmark channel movies have some of the worst acting I've ever seen
In high school English class we were assigned to read a book and compare it to the movie version. I chose Rebecca because I had read Du Maurier's short story The Birds and had seen Hitch's The Birds, so I figured I would like it. The book is one of my favorites and so is the movie.
I've heard they cost around .15 a piece! 100 million stickers would be 15 million wasted bucks! I think they are paid for by the individual states, but I don't care about the sticker and I've voted in every election for the last 25 years.
If people knew what those stickers cost the taxpayers, they wouldn't want them.
I don't think it's as good as Hitch's version, but it was better than I expected. I could have done without the fantasy and dream sequences, but overall it was a pretty good adaptation of the book (one of my favorites). As for the "sequel" to the book, I read it in the late nineties; but I can't remember a thing about it!
Seinfeld. I think Jerry is responsible for the more playful, childlike humor on Seinfeld.
I should add that the Jason Street story does continue to be somewhat depressing, but he's not really a main character after a few episodes. Also, they tone down the quick cut editing which gives it a less frantic feel.
The pilot is depressing. I saw some of it the night it premiered and had to turn it off, but years later I watched all of it and didn't find the rest of it depressing at all. It's not as good as the critics claimed, but it's worth a watch. I feel like it could have been a lot better without some of the teen soap opera stuff.
Lots of natural light in the daytime. Sort of dim at night because I don't like artificial light.
Both are good, but I'd go with Casablanca. It's so iconic that people quote it all the time without realizing that's what they're quoting. "Of all the gin joints....", "Here's looking at you, kid", "Play it again, Sam", "Round up the usual suspects" etc, etc...
I don't get it either. I finally saw it a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how bad it was. Just awful.
Nobody chose Rowdy?
I liked it too, but I think it would have been better with a little more suspense. That's always a problem with movies based on real events; we already know the ending.
The Horatio Hornblower series with Ioan Gruffudd was pretty good. It aired on A&E in the US and ITV in the UK. To the Ends of the Earth is good if your a fan of Cumberbatch, but it's really not much of a swashbuckler. There's not much seafaring action.
Yes he does. Supposedly Harry has been the Queen's favorite grandson. Some speculate that it's because he looks like a young Phillip.
