100% Full Metal Jacket
Absolutely!
He’s a man who appreciates the finer things in life, such as fur and early morning dew.
Sure did, but thanks for chiming in!
Just found it on YouTube in all its full length glory. I’m about to take a nostalgia trip and spend the evening with my 10 year old self!
And seriously, what an amazing pull!
You’re a lifesaver, thank you!
Thank you Kowalski!!!
How did you arrive at the title if you don’t mind my asking? Something you’ve see?
Poe did in fact go to West Point Military Academy, the rest is artistic liberty sprinkled with homage to the great literary mind.

So is Body Heat the film Westray is referencing in The Councelor?
Always wondered which Micky Rourke film he was addressing.
Obviously I haven’t seen Body Heat but it’s the next film I’m going to watch.
Sounds similar to that nurse who drove over 100 mph and through a cold red light, killing how many?
Was he ever?
Outside of ripping into that twat who was repeatedly making himself present in the shot during Terminator: Salvation, what other instances are there?
Throughout each film it is made abundantly clear that both Jedi and Sith alike can sense the presence of the force, even when it’s not being overtly displayed.
Imagine baby Luke having the radioactive footprint of a nuclear power plant, there was no need for Obi to witness anything.
Agreed, superbly cast, and something else, no one is really a weak link, or distractingly outshined, e.g., Keanu Reeves in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, everyone holds their own, which is quite remarkable when you think about it.
I’ve always wondered this myself and lean towards him being killing him off, given the heat of the moment.
Thank goodness Will Scarlet wasn’t cast as Wallace, can you imagine!
Mel owned the role in every way. Wish he would have grown that wild man beard after Murran died though.
If you don’t know, you don’t know.
RIP Handjob from Full Metal Jacket.
I think it’s a bit of a stretch, not unforeseeable just lacking in how the story presents it as a possibility. More than anything I think the Mother being raped, and knowing full well her son is a rapist and possibly murderer but being 100% okay with it and vice versa, Louis knowing his Mother was raped and being a rapist himself, I think it goes to show the depths of sociopathy that both characters both nurture and share between their familial bond.
