No way. They made it clear that the Cleary's were a legacy family, that have always had money, and been involved in politics for a long time. The grandma mentions her husband serving under FDR. Bill Clinton grew up poor in Arkansas, and was an unknown nationally prior to the '92 election. And Mrs. Cleary was a stay at home, drunken trophy wife. Many things can be said about Hilary, but I don't think any of those apply.
I was thinking more along the lines of a branch of the Kennedy family, probably Teddy's. This would also fit with the east coast sailing obsession of theirs. But if you wanted to make it a republican family, I could see this being the Bush family, with G.W. being in the role Christopher Walken played.
Season 4 is more difficult the first time you watch it, because its not clear where its heading, or what the point of the season is going to be. But after you've completed the season, and go back and rewatch it, then it makes more sense and is actually much more enjoyable. That whole year is showing that Tony and Carmela's marriage is crumbling. All of Tony's sins are finally wearing down Carmella to the point where she is either going to start committing some of her own, or will finally throw Tony out. She steals money from him, and absolutely would have had an affair with Furio, had he not fled back to Italy. And even when they try to do things they think will help, like that trust fund Carmela wanted but Tony's lawyers told him not too, its just bandaid on bullet wound.
It's not necessarily a rule that you have to kill someone to be a made guy. If you're a good earner, and are well liked by the guys, and probably have some good family connections (Bobby Sr. was Juniors top button man for a lone time), then you could get made.
Also notice when Charlie buys the Wonka Bar, the candy doesn't grab one from the rack right in front of him. Instead he reaches for the only one on the shelf behind him.

The pilot for the Independence.
"Oh, so the world is ending, and you blew my only chance to meet my father!!!!???? THANKS MOM!!!!!"
Using Kilmer logic: It was Billy Bob's fault that Lance got hurt. And he's been slow and lazy ever since, and keeps using his "head injury" as an excuse. And while Mox may have been the ring leader of the all night party, Billy Bob was a more than willing participate. Then the further insult being that Billy Bob was loudly crying after the game and caught Kilmer's attention.
My mind has just been blown.
And the town knew Marty was on the train, since they renamed the ravine "Eastwood Ravine". So it wouldn't take much detective work to figure out that the older guy with him was Doc. Brown.
Selina gets undermined by her staff, while Trump undermines his staff.
Don't get me wrong, I 100% agree that she was a victim, as I stated in the original thread. But the question is does she consider herself a victim now, or does she still have that naive view of the relationship? No matter what she thinks of it now, I can see her using it for her own gain.
Well... so much for having Trump back on.
Dr. Silberman: Why didn't you bring any futuristic weapons, like a ray gun or something?
Kyle: Nothing non living can go thru. You go thru naked.
DS: Why??
Kyle: I DIDN'T BUILD THE FUCKIN THING!!!!!!!!!!!!
1)Biff isn't very smart.
2) He probably knew Marty since he was a baby, and just didn't notice that he grew up to look like Calvin/Marty.
3) That's probably the worst week in Biff's life and he's probably tried to forget it.
4) And when he does think about it, his first thought is getting laid out by George.
5) He was an old man, who probably didn't take good care of himself. Most likely his memory might be a little spotty at that point, especially over something that happened 60 years ago.
You don't have to talk to the police, or testify at your trial. But if they have enough evidence against you, then they can still arrest, put on trial, and convict you, regardless if you talk.
They had more than enough evidence to put Brad away, but offered him a plea deal if he ratted out everyone else, including Donnie. They didn't do, so he stood trial, was convicted and went to prison.
Well, I guess we could never be 100% certain that it didn't happen that way.
Nope.
I kind of have a hard time watching the newer episodes on Netflix, but I can still watch any of the older episodes and still laugh at the same jokes that I've laughing at for 25 years. There may be some references that are dated, for the most part they hold up.
Nope... would not agree with that.
While the prequels gave us a spoonful of Darth Maul, they also gave us a whole steaming pile of Gungans. As well as Jake Lloyd, Hyden Christenson, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,"I hate sand", creepy Anakin, and the 3 most worthless Jedi Masters possible ever.
The only things I would give the prequels over the sequels are the music, and that the 3 movies had clear story arch and direction. Granted they had the advantage of everyone knowing how it needed to end, but I digress.
1) He had to pick an exact date where he remembered exactly where he would be, and what he was doing, and the minimum number of people would see him and potential interfere.
2) It was a significant date in the space time continum.
3) Or just an amazing coincidence.
Another Note:
Brody was also willing to hire Indy because he was an old friend of Henry Jones Sr. And even though the two of them barely spoke, it was the least he could do for an old friend.
