I love when he corrects him on "Make like a tree and LEAVE!" Always made me wonder when Old Biff was corrected on that.
1) Fan service.
2) They deleted a storyline in which Lando had a daughter who was kidnapped by the First Order and forced into being one of their early soldiers. Which is why he went with Luke to help him find the planet Exagol, in hope to find his daughter there. Obviously they never did. Then after the Resistance's victory Lando meets Jannah, a young woman who was taken by The First Order, but had successfully escaped. We all realize that his is his long last daughter and we get this wonderful reunion.
But they cut that out, so what we're left with is #1, and an awkward scene where creepy old man Lando is eyeballing a much younger girl.
Consider that he graduated high school in June 1956, so he only waited two years to really cash in on the almanac. Not sure what the gambling laws in California were at that point, it might have been 21. The video in his museum said he won his first million on his 21st birthday.
Lot of possibilities as to why Biff didn't make more sooner. Maybe he was still nervous about using it, and needed time to work up the nerve to do it. Or maybe he started out with small time bookies, just testing it out, and trying earn enough money to make that big bet. Also maybe that was the first chance to had to really win big. He saw that a long shot was going to win, and that's where he could cash in.

The T-Rex was not hunting the humans at that point. Not even sure it was hunting the Gallimimus, but simply got lucky that the herd moved near her.
The humans are walking up a hill in the middle open grassland, which is kind of dumb in and of itself considering how many predators are on the island. The herd was running from their right to left, but a mountain was directly in front of them, so they shifted to their left which was right at the humans. The humans run straight back down the hill, and hid under the log as the rest of the herd past them. The T-Rex then emerges from the forest which was on their left when they were walking up the hill, and grabs a Gallimimus that was toward the back of the herd. The humans are already hiding behind the log, so even if the t-rex had seen them before, it had lost them by that point.
Most likely the T-Rex was walking near there, or even resting and heard that Gallimimus approaching, and waited for the perfect moment to strike, which is the back of the herd and not the front.
If you mean from an artistic standpoint, then no, this extra time would not have "saved" this movie, and I put that in quotes because it depends on your opinion of it. First, as others have said, there is no production going on right now for anything. So there wouldn't be a way for them to do reshoots or test screenings. And second, who knows if they would have wanted to make any more changes, even if they could make them.
As far as box office goes, if it had been bumped back a year, that could have been a disaster for it. First, we don't even know for sure if or how many theaters will be open in December. And they might not allow them to be filled to capacity. And second, even if the whole country and world is back to fully open by that point, a large percentage of people might not be as willing to sit in a dark crowded theater yet. And with the vast improvements in streaming services, many people might prefer to just wait for it to become available for them to watch at home.
The way it worked out might have been the best case scenario for Disney, and while they may have hoped for more from the final box office, they are still happy with it. They cleared the $1 Billion mark, and were profitable. How much they were profitable is unclear, despite what some fanboys on the internet claim to "know". But in the short term, it just needed to be profitable. And I'm sure its made a ton more with people paying to stream it, while we're on lock d
Finding out about the phone call to Sykes may have sealed it for Gerard, but I think his first suspicion came much sooner than that. I think it started in tunnel, when Richard was pointing Gerard's gun at him. This man was supposed to be a cold, calculating murderer, who had just survived a bus and train crash, and was leading police on a high speed chase. And now he has gotten a gun away from a cop, and has him cornered, but the only thing on his mind is "I didn't kill my wife!". Then Kimball doesn't kill Gerard, or try to take him hostage to barter his way out of the tunnel, but just walks away. This shows a different mindset to the normal criminals Gerard has dealt with.
He needed to confirm that it was him. He figured its a federal building with a prison and lots or officers and metal detectors at the entrance. No way Richard would be able to get out.
If they really wanted to break Daniel, before the final match, Silver could have introduced the person who will run all of his new Cobra Kai dojo's and his new girlfriend, Ali with an I. Then she would walk out, wearing some smoking hot black leather outfit, with that infamous Cobra on the back, and her and Terry would have a long passionate kiss that would make everyone a little uncomfortable, and Daniel cry.
You're assuming that everything that happened to Quiad after going to ReKall was not real. The movie intentionally never answered the question: Was the whole Hauser on Mars working for Cohaagen story true, or was this part of Quaid's implanted memories?
The Asian lady sitting right behind Jack and Annie had her black purse on her lap at the start of the looped video. Toward the end of the tape, she slides it off of her and on to the empty seat next to her. Payne first became suspicious when he saw her move her purse because he probably realized that he had already seen her do that. Then he kept watching and saw where the tape looped and the purse magically reappeared on her lap.

Kind of funny that your least favorite seasons are the ones where she is the Vice President, which was the original premise for the show.
Not knocking your list in anyway. Of course you're entitled to you your opinion. Just thought that was funny.
Love Woods in this part. He brings this wannabe smooth talking gangster, whose actually just some bumbling small time hustler junkie, who actually isn't that bright. My favorite parts are in the diner right before he leaves, he considers taking the money Ace threw on the table, but wisely decides to leave it. And when Ginger is trying to explain to him that Ace called his house asking for her. Which means he already knows they're there and he probably has guys coming to the house.
The car scene made it pretty clear that he didn't have much experience in even talking to girls, let alone having a girlfriend. Partially out of shyness, but also just not really taking the time to learn how. After the college girl gave him some advice, he actually took it to heart, and within a month was banging Mena Suvari.
Oz and Stifler went to Michigan State, which is where the final lacrosse game and choir concert were held at. MSU is a great school and has a lot of programs that are ranked in the top 20 nationally, but at that time it wasn't very difficult to get in. If you had decent grades, good ACT/SAT score and applied early, you had a good shot at being accepted. Oz mentioned that planning on trying to walk on to the lacrosse team, which would look great on an application. I'll assume Stifler did the same. Neither of them were on scholarship.
And if any of my follow Spartans are upset by any that, not only am I an Alumni, but I was there a little after the time this movie takes place, so I am speaking from experience.
It's a 5 year MAXIMUM that someone can be missing before they are declared legally dead. He could have been declared dead at any time prior to that, but once someone is missing for 5 years, the police must declare them dead.
After a year, it was clear her husband was dead, but Carol didn't want him declared dead. Not because she was holding out hope that he was alive. It was because as long as he's considered alive, then she is still the only person allowed to spend "their" money. And according to show, she bought a ton of property, and put it under her name only. So once the 5 years expired, he's declared dead, and his will kicks in, which split "his" assets among Carol and his daughters. But that turned out to be much less than it would have been, since his kids weren't entitled to the property that only Carol owned.
My thoughts:
Indy was the top student under Dr. Ravenwood at the University of Chicago. After graduation he did his first work with him, and went on his first adventures. He also learned of Ravenwood's dream of finding the Ark of the Covenant, which in a way reminded him of his fathers obsession with the Holy Grail. During this time, Indy met Marion, who as all the school girls did, had a major crush on him. And as she grew older and more into a woman, she finally caught Indy's eye, and he gave into the temptation, perhaps it was on an expedition with her father. She thought it was true love, and he was happy to find a new way to pass the time on long trips. Upon their return, Ravenwood learns of the affair and is livid at Indy. After an intense screaming match he fires Indy and Indy fears that his reputation has been ruined and he'll never be hired again. Luckily for Indy, he has already built a strong reputation and the legendary artifact seeker Dr. Marcus Brody is looking for not only a professor at Marshall College, but a protege to continue the work that he has done, since he is becoming to old to go on dangerous expeditions. Marcus had heard about what had happened with Marion, but decided Indy was worth taking the risk on. The two of them team up on some great adventures, and then eventually Marcus has to stop going on them, and Indy heads them up on his own.
Marion had hoped that Indy would send for her to join him in Connecticut, but that call never came. She realized that she was used and exploited by an older man, and becomes bitter at Indy. And the bitterness grows every time her father hauls her around the world looking for treasure. Perhaps if that call had come, and Indy asked her to come to Connecticut and marry him, then Ravenwood would have eventually forgiven him and they would have reconciled. But since the call never came, then Ravenwood never forgave Indy for not only betraying his trust, but for hurting his daughter.
I have a feeling there were many trips to the vending machines, or the bathroom by Nedry. Doubtful they would remember that one time.
I have seen most the episodes of Dark Side of the Ring and have enjoyed them. And obviously they are done without WWE's support or anybody employed by them, although Bruce Pritchard got rehired by WWE after first season. But these shows are focused on the worst moments in wrestling history, or at least stories that brought negative attention to wrestling. They show who was involved, what lead to the events, what happened, then the aftermath. So of course this show is not going to show the wrestling business in a positive light, hence the name.
Whereas the Andre doc was about one extrodinary mans journey thru pro wrestling in the 70's and 80's. It covered the good and the bad. And they did cover a lot of the bad, more than I would have expected a WWE backed piece would. The rigors of being on the road so much, the strained relationship with his daughter, his deteriorating health, and how the business decided it was done with him. Sure it didn't beat you over the head with it the way DSR does, but if you watch it closely you can see that this isn't entirely a WWE fluff piece.
I have a feeling this is going to be a little to much of a Joe love fest, and ignore the horrible crimes he did commit, including to the tigers.
He didn't step away after this movie. Home Alone 2 came out the year after this, whether you consider that good or not is debatable. Then he had 5 movies come out in the two years after that, the best probably being The Good Son. The last of those movies was Richie Rich which was a surprising bomb, that is when he took a break from acting. Perhaps he was burned out from the schedule he had just gone through, or the issues in his family, most notably his father, were taking their toll on him. Either way, it was 9 years before he did anything, and he still doesn't do very much, and not any thing really note worthy.
