Wow. Excellent review. I hadn’t thought of it that way but it makes perfect sense. Well done!
Don’t do heroin.
And killed by Norman instead of Norma. I think that was an important distinction as well.
In Norman’s mind, Jim Loomis was the first person he killed. The rest, he would say, were killed by Norma.
I think she’ll end up living a life like the truck driver. Embracing the freedom that comes with not caring about your rating.
I hadn’t thought about that. That’s a good point, it does seem strange she would be one of the “elites”.
I think it’s more likely that the error was Pam’s, not the writers’.
I think Pam’s Mom was turning 58, but was pretending to be 49, so Pam did the subtraction (58-49=9) and said “wow this is the 9th time”. But you’re right that since the 1st time was her actual 49th birthday, then her 58th birthday would’ve been the 10th time she claimed to turn 49.
Excellent reply! I thought it was a fitting title as well, but couldn’t have put it into words that well. Nicely done.
That makes a hell of a lot more sense than anything I came up with. I like it. Thanks for taking the time to write that out for us!
I think it's a coin-toss, like gender. The baby could be the species of either parent.
I agree! Great choice.
Interesting thought.
Maybe the purpose is twofold. Maybe it's meant to be a gift if the species discovering it is worthy of having such a gift; and if they're not worthy, then it will destroy them. So it will be helpful to a worthy species, and destructive to an unworthy species. Either outcome is good for the universe as a whole.
Thank you, I was going to say that! 8 women stole more than 11 men did.
Disappointing that the OP didn't reply to yours to acknowledge that they jumped to conclusions.
Tess wasn't one of the original 11. You forgot Reuben (Elliot Gould).
I think she was considered the 12th for Oceans Twelve.
Yep, he really is.
It ends with Sandra Bullock visiting his grave, and I was expecting him to walk in and her say "you did such a crappy job of faking your death", something like that. But nope, it just ends like that, he's really dead.
- Whoever wins gets these. The keys to my Jaguar.
- Just the keys?
- No, you get the car too.
Lol :)
Liam Neeson. He can play anything.
That was hilarious :) they were all like "what do we do? Follow him in?" Lol :)
Another way to look at this is that the strongest character was female.
The dad, boyfriend, and brother were pretty wimpy. We all knew all along that the only chance of winning was Gina. She was clearly the smartest and strongest character.
So keep that in mind before getting too upset at the filmmakers.
It seemed as if she forgot her mission (whatever that may be) in the accident, and reverted to human emotions. But when she saw the real murdered Gina, it all came back to her, and she became void and emotionless like the others.
Maybe that's supposed to shed some light on who they are. Maybe they're humans at their core, but were 'overwritten' with this new mission.
Thank you! That was helpful.
