Good points made. Thanks for that. That was the thing that bugged me the most too. How were they not getting the irony of "this demon knows everything we've ever said inside the house", while still in the house! The priest seemed to be very smart except for that one pretty major slip-up. He was called to the counter by a different name, right? A name that his daughter recognized as being an alias of his. So he used that alias to get back in the country. Could it be that the killer also knew about the loop, and wanted to keep the mask on so as not to be exposed? Since we don't know why time was looping, but maybe the killer did. And we found out that Tree didn't have an infinite number of lives, that the multiple deaths were taking a toll on her. So maybe the killer thought as long as they could get away with it a few dozen times, without Tree taking the mask off, then Tree would die for good. Yeah I figured they would revisit that. Maybe she'd be about to quit and walk away from the fight, then find out that her brother died during a Nerve dare, and she'd be like "we have to take them down!" Yeah I wondered that too. I think the intention was for us to think it was just run by the people, mob mentality, all that. But clearly someone at least got it started. I'm thinking it was just some guy who wrote a code and made an app, having no idea how big it would get. In fact, I was thinking that as they reached the final scene, they might end up tracking down the original developer, and he ends up helping somehow. Like "I'm so ashamed, I can't believe people are dying because of it, I'll help you destroy it." The last scene is Louis opening his eyes, so yeah he comes out of the coma. I agree! My friends thought he was annoying, a forced comic relief character. I thought he was funny, but more importantly, he showed the most character development. I thought she did get a tracker, just a week earlier. The guy giving her all her credentials and whatever asked her if she got it done, and she said yes, but was clearly less than thrilled about it. I thought that's what happened anyway. I liked it more than I expected I would. I was worried it would be just too cliché, since so many similar ideas have been done before, but it had some originality. And the ending in the hangar was great. Why did she float out into space at all? She had control capabilities too, right?
