You would think that any reasonably intelligent 20 year old who has grown up in the public eye would have enough common sense to not wear a Nazi uniform. Whatever else is true about the brothers really the fault is his - even if he did grow up in a bubble of great privileges with an entirely false sense of superiority and a set of values 50+ years out of date. I can never understand why there are so few Max Headroom appearances. There was a time when he always seemed to be on TV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jHzdMo-YCc It would be a great deal poorer IMHO. Even then I wouldn't buy it because I'd never read it - but one of these days I must find a decent book about the Duke of Windsor. I remember being told that one of the reasons he had to abdicate was that when touring South Wales he was so appalled at the conditions the miners lived under he vowed to do something about it - which didn't please the establishment at all! no. I'm a little curious to see how many are actually sold and how quickly it ends up in the heavily discounted heap. It's interesting that the USA seems to have different (longer) copyright protection compared to the UK - probably Europe and Canada as well. I foresee book smuggling across borders, perhaps even speakeasy bookshops😀 Even if it all becomes a digital argument there is nothing to stop the product being made and hosted outside the USA - theoretically blocking American consumers but easily bypassed with a VPN. A cheerful little song - until the kid starts singing. Didn't quite work for me - not quite sure why but I think the leads did not really spark off each other (and was Jason Sudeikis a bit old?) plus it all felt a little flat. I suspect you'd have to go through the mincer first - effectively, become chum. Bodies have a habit of washing up. Actually that's not a bad brand name: Become Chum - the eco friendly way to go. There's got to be more to the process than that otherwise you'll end up with larger bones and teeth in the mix. Presumably some sifting and grinding is involved. According to wikipedia: Maurice Hurley, head writer and showrunner, did not like working with McFadden and, at Hurley's demand, she was let go at the end of season one. Diana Muldaur joined the production as the Enterprise's new chief medical officer, Dr. Katherine Pulaski, for the second season. Series creator Gene Roddenberry admitted that the Dr. Pulaski character did not develop a chemistry with the other characters, so McFadden was approached to return as Dr. Crusher for the third season. Which I didn't know - I just assumed she took a break for family reasons. The Blues Brothers - my traditional end to the year. Balderdash! Titanic was sunk by an iceberg therefore the culprits were clearly from the Kingdom of Frigia. I'd never heard of it - but it's an interesting name choice given that Britain's WW2 Colossus computer was still a secret at that stage. Interesting video - thanks. Not how I saw the film. For me it was a Shakespearean tragedy of a deeply damaged family, corrupted and rotted by the mother, coming up against an equally corrupt Godfather of a cop. The cop may have been living by a moral code of sorts but he was still basically just the top Gangster. Perhaps that's too literal an interpretation and not what the director intended but that's how I saw it. I guess it's been a year since I watched it but as I remember it just felt a bit flat to me - which was a pity given the cast, story and location. 1. I think Sam Rockwell is about the only one I would have kept, though ... This is actually a film that seems a little better now than it did at the time. For someone who listened to the radio version, read the books and watched the BBC TV series - this was a pretty poor attempt. However, time passes, memory fades and I found this film more enjoyable this time around - so it goes.
