Unless there is a credible source, I don't believe William physically assaulted Harry. I don't even believe he hit him as a kid. I expect most of this book to be fiction.

Their only complaints I agree with are about racism, abusive tabloids and royals shouldn't allow family to be abused.

The book I do recommend is "Meghan and Harry:The Real Story" by Lady Colin Campbell. Well-researched, detailed, insight into the royals' perspective, and very fair. It's among the best biographies I've read.

Another good book is "The Housekeeper's Diary: Charles and Diana Before the Breakup" by Wendy Berry. Behind the scenes look at their marriage, two children and royal life.

To be fair, I read everything - easily two dozen Trump books when he was president and I hated him.

Only if it's a pop-up book with really pretty colours.

That spoiled twat isn't getting one cent of my money!

I'm pretty sure someone will post long excerpts on the Datalounge, that'll be more than enough for me.

If my local library buys it and I feel the urge, maybe.

At this point, Harry's grievance tour seems petty, self-pitying, narcissistic. What does he actually, objectively, have to complain about ?

If he begrudges that he was not directly in line to be the next King, can't he find solace in being filthy stinking rich, able to do absolutely anything in the world he has the means & capability to do, other than being King of England ? It would be one thing if he were the more talented of the two brothers, but by most measures, he is not. In any case, those are the rules, part of the rules being that he is made rich & famous without the necessity of doing a damn thing. So it all comes across as an unending sulk.

Some of these royals are just hideiously entitled - like Andrew, & the wartime traitor, the Duke of Wndsor. IMO Diana was also an entitled sulking drama queen.

Its loo late now, Harry was determined to light the whole thing on fire, and now he's done it. With a lot of grievance feeding by the wife, of course.

no.
I'm a little curious to see how many are actually sold and how quickly it ends up in the heavily discounted heap.

reply

I might buy it when it reaches that stage - I have a collection of books on famous people - several on the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, so it would fit right in with those.

reply

Even then I wouldn't buy it because I'd never read it - but one of these days I must find a decent book about the Duke of Windsor. I remember being told that one of the reasons he had to abdicate was that when touring South Wales he was so appalled at the conditions the miners lived under he vowed to do something about it - which didn't please the establishment at all!
