OJ and Kato went to MickeyD's in a Rolls before he murdered Nicole and Ron.
It is considered non-PC, but I wonder how many people realize it's just the antonym of occident?
Yes.
It was one my favorites in the 1990s. I didn't even think of it as sci-fi back then, but it I don't know how else you'd classify it. It's just sci-fi of a lighter variety. I was a fan of Kyle Chandler from a prior show, so that's why I watched it, but it turned out to be really good. I rewatched it last year and it's still good.
I don't think it's anything like Hercules or Xena. Both of those shows are total camp; Highlander feels more like a Quantum Leap or Early Edition type show but with sword play and more violence.
I bought one last year and I agree. I walk out on the parking lot at work and any car on the lot could be mine! My previous car had a more distinctive look, but the new one drives better and has a warranty. That's why we want them! 😆
The last season was not part of the books. The books skip ahead to Jeremy and Valentine being adults. The show wanted one more season so they wrote their own material to continue to focus on Ross and Demelza. I think they will bring the show back in a few years with the Poldark kids as adults and continue the adapting the books. Supposedly nothing that happened in the final season conflicts with the novels, but Ross and Demelza have two more babies in the time gap. I agree that the final season felt too "right now", instead of being something Graham would have actually written.
I agree. I wasn't crazy about Richards as the choice, but the reason they got rid of him irks me. When he was guest host, he irritated me with this speechifying about " we're trying to build a kinder, better world". I wanted to say ...really, I thought we playing Jeopardy! 🙄
Burton sucked. Mayim was pretty good.
You are right, but in spite of the truth, the fear mongering is off the charts.
Nope.
Yes I remember him and I went to college with a girl named Amy Fisher a couple of years later. She laughed about it, but I bet it the constant jokes got old.
You can already rent streaming movies from Google Play, Vudu, Amazon, Fandango etc... The only problem is they overcharge for new movies, but I think market demand will eventually change that. In the meantime, there's still DVD Netflix and RedBox.
I love the Parking Garage. Everytime I see somebody with a window AC, I laugh and think of Kramer.
I hated it so much I refuse to see it again. I've only seen it the night it originally aired. I thought it was an insult to the audience. The show should have ended with just a regular episode. It was supposed to be a show about nothing with no hugs and no lessons, so that's how it should have ended.
The Outing
I was an adult when it came out and I hated it! The story and "message" are stupid.
I watched it back in the day, but it was soooooo preachy! I laughed at how over the top it was even back then.
Shat has co-written some Trek novels, so he knows the mythology of it well enough that I'm sure he's seen the show. Most actors deny watching their work because they don't want to seem like narcissists.
