Really bad but critics liked it-why?

The audience got only a handful of laughs out of this. Very disappointing-- especially considering RT critics liked it. Something rotten at Rotten Tomatoes. It has maybe 30 minutes of comedy, the rest was like a Saturday Night live skit gone too long. Why would the movie critics social clic review this so high?

I thought it was hilarious! But that's why they make chocolate and vanilla.

i don't see the movie anywhere bad. it's nice and refreshing to see a different comedy movie that's not about dumb characters who love sex, drugs and being fooled. this movie is creatively hilarious and it's funny without being offensive to the audience

How did you access these 30 minutes of comedy? All of it is missing from the iTunes version I was tricked into wasting money on.

I think people should be divided into the "Funniest movie ever" category and the "Stupidest movie ever".

It would make choosing people I want to hang out with so much easier (I'm in the first group).

I respect your opinion, its not even bad for me, but its a good mediocre original comedy movie. I'm with the critics.

I have to agree. I don't think it was "really bad", but the premise ran out of steam rather early. And it isn't just critics that inexplicably loved this movie - it has a rather high rating here, too, higher than it deserves.

The movie was somewhat entertaining, but wasn't really very funny. I see in the "Trivia" section here that a lot of the film was improvised. They should have spent more time writing a good script instead of just winging it as they went.
