Really bad but critics liked it-why?

The audience got only a handful of laughs out of this. Very disappointing-- especially considering RT critics liked it. Something rotten at Rotten Tomatoes. It has maybe 30 minutes of comedy, the rest was like a Saturday Night live skit gone too long. Why would the movie critics social clic review this so high?

I'm with you. I found it highly vampirist. It's about time we stopped keeping people in the dark just because they are different and shone some light into their oppressed lives. Equally rights for the undead! Equal rights for the undead!

Seriously though if you don't find this movie funny then you're already dead.

Like a lot of other replies i really disagree with you and agree with the critics. i thought it was fresh, funny and for me, i could have watched another hour of it (and i tend to think very few films warrant being longer than an hr and half!)

Much better, funnier and clever than anticipated. Quirky and original.

It was hilarious and very original. It's too bad you didn't like it. Most people did.

Hey if you didn't like it, you didn't like it. But I found the movie to be quite entertaining and funny enough to where I didn't feel like anything was dragging or getting boring. I thought they did a quality job for a low-budget comedy. Not sure what was "really bad" about it...just maybe not your sense of humor, doesn't make it bad.

Reality is subjective.

it's not for people not into docudrama, thats why you got bored

I just came discovered this on IMDB. It looked entertaining but a reviewer compared it to Night of the Concords. I did watch some of their Comedy Central show and found them anti-funny. They such joy and laughter from a room.

That's me. Perhaps it's an Aussi....Kidding Kiwi thing. Cause those Concords are gone and good riddance

One theory
Critics who often act like herd animals. wanted to show their love of new Zealand film didn't stop with Peter Jackson. So they wanted to like it and said they liked it.

Glad I saw the comparison mate.

You don't know how Rotten Tomatoes actually WORKS, do you?

Do some research so you don't come across as so ignorant next time.

Too bad you don’t like it. I think it’s interesting and funny. Sometimes feel embarrassing but even that part is funny. I think at least it is better than most of American-style comedies which normally I don’t enjoy. You miss a lot.
