Really bad but critics liked it-why?

The audience got only a handful of laughs out of this. Very disappointing-- especially considering RT critics liked it. Something rotten at Rotten Tomatoes. It has maybe 30 minutes of comedy, the rest was like a Saturday Night live skit gone too long. Why would the movie critics social clic review this so high?

or some reason I feel the need to point out that the O.P. clearly has no idea what Rotten Tomatoes is or how it works.

there is an old....actually ancient.....latin phrase that roughly translates to: "In matters of taste, there can be no disputes"...

.....So if nanobot didn't like the movie, that's fine....it's clearly not for everybody. But, just like I won't criticize the fact that he doesn't like the movie, he/she should understand that some (or even many) critics would disagree.

But to blame Rotten Tomatoes for the fact that critics generally enjoyed the film ("something rotten at Rotten Tomatoes").........and to question the judgement of "RT critics" (what does that even mean) is just asinine

(I am sure all of this has been pointed out already considering the thread is 18 months old......but the tread is still active and near the top of this message board for What We Do in the Shadows.....so I thought I would bore you with my $0.02
