I fail to understand why this has a 7.2 rating...If Ex-machina can get an 8 this was certainly a 9!
shareChappie (the movie) is dumb and stupid, couldn't even stand an hour of it. It is just very lame. OTOH, Ex-machina is thoroughly engaging and intelligent.

sharechappie was an action film with very good special effects and was entertaining in a silly brainless way , I'd normally give it a 6 but I love the south African accent and its nice seeing a film with actors from a different country than usual , so I'll go 7 :). Hugh jackman's (who I like) character was ridiculous , I had to laugh at the silly evil things he was doing , we was like a cartoon evil villain.
I thought ex-machine was a far better film , much more interesting.
Ex Machina is better in basically every aspect, imho. The questions it raised, the technology aspect of it, the mood it builds throughout the movie, the photography, the ending… Everything in it was lovely.

shareDidn't really care much for Chappie. Didn't hate it, but didn't think it lived up to it's potential. Ex Machina imo was a much better film.
