Chappie Vs Ex machina
I fail to understand why this has a 7.2 rating...If Ex-machina can get an 8 this was certainly a 9!

If you are directly comparing the two films, Ex Machina must score much more highly. It is well made, and well written. But most importantly Ex machine intelligently explores AI and a situation where the tester is being tested. Chappie is badly written, and has a basically dumb story.

For me Chappie holds up a lot better than Ex Machina.
shareAs per my reply above from two years ago, Chappie is still the better movie and it deserves a higher rating than 6.8, more like 7.4.
