Definitely. I had always envisioned the 21st Century as being one of progress and civility. Two decades into it, we seem to be regressing rather than moving forward.
shareThe funny thing about this is that older generations have been mourning the end of those things for literally thousands of years. There are surviving letters by ancient Greeks and Romans complaining that society and civilization are being destroyed by the youth and nobody has any respect anymore. And the people who make these complaints now, their parents' generation made the exact same complaints about them destroying these things when they were growing up.
