So Equality can't be optional therefore it must be enforced if we are to have a fair society!
So 'Equality' should be optional? A cop can kill a black motorist then hug a white one for the same crime? A shopkeeper can charge you one price and me another? What kind of ass backwards thinking is that?!?! When you don't enforce equality that is exactly what IS HAPPENING!
Let's admit this is from a juror and this was their true feelings. What does this say about justice in America? I think it says that ONLY after months of riots and cities burning can a white policeman be found guilty of murdering a black person. Now I don't agree with this so called juror. I think there was plenty of FACTS to find Chauvin guilty but if what this person says is true it means the justice system is so messed up, this is the ONLY way black people can find justice. Exactly the wrong message is being given to minorities.
There is also a deep seated hatred for anyone who is not like them. That is textbook bigotry! Trump understood this about them better than any other politician. The reason the seem impervious to facts etc is because they just DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!!! It is NOT because they can't understand it, they just WON'T!

We will add as many as 9 more liberal judges to the SC and start working on dismantling the Electoral College, it is undemocratic and gives an unfair advantage to the voters in small mostly red states. Then you can voter id and gerrymander yourselves as much as you like it won't matter because the President will be chosen by popular vote and the way I see it, we have about 9 million more voters than you do! Yes, small Blue states also benefit by the EC but there are more small red ones than blue ones. Also the point is that the large blue states get disenfranchised! AND the large population blue states have large mostly minority populations so it VERY MUCH has to do with RACE! Why are you guys aways SO EAGER to deny RACISM? IT EXISTS! ITS HERE! My point is that when there IS a 2/3rd majority, and with demographics trends it WILL happen eventually, it will be too late to salvage the small red states population and there might not be ANY large red states left!
Not EVERY non white is Liberal, many are conservative BUT Trump did not run on the conservative positions you listed. He barely mentioned them, He ran sayin "darkie is coming to get you" "Our suburbs, our suburbs!" You can't deny THAT!I can tell you this much: MOST non white people don't think like LilWayne or 50 cent EVEN IF they are culturally conservative!
The Rep threshold for logical argument and facts is VERY LOW. Say ANYTHING that sounds vaguely pro Trump and they support it 1000%. Can't think for themselves.

The Chinese leaders are LAUGHING at us! The Vaunted greatest Democracy is ONLY as good as its most STUPID or GREEDY or SELF RIGHTEOUS citizens. It works in countries where people THINK! like Germany or New Zealand or Canada. Or where its people are governed by more than their own NARROW self interest. We COULD have paid businesses 80% of employees salaries and selectively shut down the most disease spreading businesses. It would have been cheaper than the 6 Trillion we have spent so far, less people would have died' our people would not be economically distressed and we would have more control of the spread. It is Affirmative Action for white people, no more no less! It didn't work then, it won't work again. It MIGHT work only if the message ISN'T as blatant! The constitutional amendment will happen but by the time 2/3rds of the states summon the courage to do it, it will already be too late for the minority population. Republicans who genuinely believe in small govt. free enterprise etc need to rescue their party from insisting on 'minority rule' otherwise, their 'good' ideas will go down with the party.

Sure let's investigate Hunter's taxes and expose ANY wrong doing. If proven we will see how Joe Biden will react. But we can't avoid looking into ALL of the Trumps' tax evasion cases; misuse of funds intended for other purposes; trading political influence for favorable trading status with the China....There are PLENTY of things that CAN and WILL be investigated concerning ALL of the Trumps' CRIMES including Ivanka, Donald jnr; Eric and Melania. Pardon or NO PARDON their crimes will be exposed. In fact IF Donald snr broadly pardons all of his family (as it is rumored he is planning to do), he is tightening the noose around his own neck. If they accept the pardons, they will be FORCED to testify TRUTHFULLY in cases involving him (including the ones he cannot pardon himself out of), since they would be at no legal jeopardy. The next year or so will be fun. I don't think there is anything to the Hunter news except Republican STUPIDITY. Even if there is, Hunter will be worth the Trumpty Dumpty Family CRASH we are all going to be treated too! Can't wait!

I mean perfect in the sense that the hero or heroine always wins the day!Paul doesn't win at the end because he is VERY human and humans don't always win life's struggles. Worry about your own life Vranger or you COULD respond SUBSTANTIVELY to the points I make. The poem I quote is ABBA and is IMO a celebration of life...but I don't expect YOU to understand that!
Rewatching this series during the COVID-19 lockdown and I think Paul's character and the show become clearer with perspective. The truth is that unlike almost EVERY other show on tv, in this show no one is PERFECT. If you look carefully you can see problems with every characters thinking and actions. Paul is every bit as troubled as his patients. That point is made over and over again. Both he and Laura were reacting to their parents' 'abandonments'; Gina ends up having an ulterior motive for 'helping'; even Adele appears to have some selfish reasons for her actions.
I think this is VERY true to life. Many commentators react viscerally to Paul's flaws perhaps because he reminds them of failing in themselves. I know his blindness to some of his own failings reminds me of me....sometimes. At any rate the fact that Paul a) Is deeply troubled by his 'problems' and b) is always seeking to address them is his TRUE redeeming quality.

Paul's struggle with his patients and his personal and professional life are portrayed as NOBLE. We see this man who is usually under severe personal pressures strive to give the BEST of himself to his patients...even the ones he can't stand! That makes him a hero in my book, the best kind, the hero without the cape....everyman. That he does or doesn't ultimately succeed is hardly the point. His struggle is!
