Blacks had to always fight white racism and white supremacy for any type of opportunity. For instance, the Civil War ended slavery. Marches, legislation and lawsuits ended Jim Crow laws. Racist whites still hated blacks, but "forced equality" prevented racist whites from acting on that hatred by ending slavery and legalized segregation.
The double problem of more subtle forms of segregation and the lingering affects of 400 years of racism remain and have not been addressed. White supremacy and racism continue in every segment of American society.
Racist whites cannot be forced to like blacks, but can be forced to stop discrimination which creates opportunities.
The Civil Rights movement began when college-educated blacks were being denied jobs in which they were qualified since entire professions were forbidden to them.
When I was a kid, ALL news commentators were white men. A class-action suit forced the three networks to stop discrimination. One year later, I saw the first black and women news commentators. Turn on news now and you can see the result of the lawsuit which allowed qualified blacks, women, Asians, and Hispanics to work as news commentators. The same was repeated in other jobs, housing, banking, education, etc.
But, there is plenty of work left since racism and its ongoing legacy continue.

Pretending that blacks and whites are starting life on an equal footing is racist because you are in denial that black people in the U.S. were denied wages for 300 years and access to good-paying jobs and opportunities for another 100 years due to Jim Crow laws which created the present poverty and other issues. Both past racism and present need to be addressed.
But any attempt at addressing it gets criticized by you and your pals. The reason is because you want to maintain the present racial hierarchy which gives you an artificial leg-up based on white-skinned privilege as it deprives nonwhites, especially blacks, the same opportunities.

Orly, point me where exactly the now enacted law made it illegal to vote on Sundays, I dare you. Vote boxes on the other hand weren't there to begin with until the pandemic (for those particular states) so that argument has no merit though I do agree there should be more voting boxes spaced out evenly with cameras monitoring them.
They need to reword it when bringing in equity because if all you're doing is talking about black/brown etc. i makes the whites feel left out to no fault of their own (policy makers made these rules/changes).
From what I could tell, most people were just complaining about the voter ID part, signature verification, and ballot harvesting. If you can't address that, then you're just inviting what they perceive as potential fraud. I've already seen a fed videos by a certain Crowder that had voters with address locations that don't even exist so I don't even know how that is possible. I wish Stacy Abrams made a comprehensive list on exactly what is being suppressed since it isn't as simple as, "oh you're voter suppression" without providing exact details on what part as the right claims voter expansion with more given days though doesn't handout every an absentee form unless requested.

Turns out he had been sleeping with 5 different women at their apartments when he was supposed to be out on patrol, and it was interfering with his work.
Now if a cop of any other ethnicity had been caught doing that, they would have been fired immediately. But because he was black, the boss couldn't fire him because he would be accused of "racism." So instead, they made him a "detective," and stuck him with a near-useless desk job, so he would be forced to stay at the station house during the day. He almost never solved any cases whatsoever, and mostly was just a living prop at his desk.
