I liked debating the unofficial timelines, because some of them sucked and/or didn't seem to fit with one another, but yes, I was a fan of Kathleen's cans.

I would say you haven't been on a lot of message boards or talked to people who are fans of the franchise.
Curious to see your thoughts since not only TLJ came out since you wrote this, but the trilogy finished.
The original trilogy is great, glad you recognize how bad the prequels are - not a fan of this recent trend of pretending they are good - but don't have much tolerance for the anti-Disney stuff. Rian Johnson was allowed to do whatever he wanted with TLJ and that didn't exactly pan out did it? Disney knows what it's doing and their results prove that.
I also disagree on a fundamental level that TFA is a "rehash" of ANH. Some similar elements, but A LOT that is different.

That was only a problem the last several years. For many years, it was a great place to go and have a conversation about your favorite movies or a popular TV show. After episodes of LOST, Battlestar Galactica, or GoT, that place was so busy sometimes it would crash.
The last several years though, it became overrun by trolls. Interest in real conversation was gone and people just wanted to troll and bring the site down.
IMDB 2, sadly, has the most active member base of all the spinoff sites, but it's pretty poorly run. "Admin" lets trolls run rampant. There's no rhyme or reason for who gets banned vs. who is allowed to to whatever they want. The guy who "owns" the site is hands-off, except when you call him out.
I recently reached my boiling point with that place. Some guy named muscha repeatedly posted "I am glad Biden raped Tara Reade." He did it over 4 days and at least 5 or 6 different posts/threads. I made the admin/mod aware of it and was scolded for "calling out" muscha. That was it for me. I want no parts of a place with that excuses that kind behavior. Fucking sick.

Nothing. This movie was pretty much the best you could ask for after Rian Johnson killed the big bad in the previous movie and was hell-bent on making his replacement "redeemed". 2nd best of the trilogy and superior to all prequels.
ROTJ has a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes from the fans and 82% from critics. That's better both the fan and critics reviews for Revenge of the Sith, which is supposedly the best prequel. But yeah...it's "hated". Sure.
I think that quote about the Oldsmobile is meant to imply he was both non-religious and handy.

I don't follow the news as much as others, but I believe they were spotted throwing bottles and rocks at our border patrol agents.
I live in a really weird neighborhood. It's very quiet and a lot of people don't talk to each other and the ones that do will only talk to the same ones. I guess you could say it's clicky. Todd and Margo sucked, but there's a good chance we wouldn't even speak other than waving hello once in a while.
I was excited when I heard Shane Black was involved, but the second I heard that there was another "super predator" involved I wrote the movie off. I can't believe that they took something that was so disliked about the previous movie and did it again. Why do they keep thinking that passing the face of an iconic monster is a good idea?
I think there's a difference between saying he doesn't care and wasn't actively seeking her out.

Are you insane? This is everything that is wrong with the last two movies.
Laurie died in the last movie made, wouldn't they have to wipe everything?
Were you unaware that this movie was going to be doing that until just now?
I would imagine since one is the first kill and one is the main character, it's more likely were going to see their dreams than the other two characters.
