So being a mass murdering war criminal is no biggie ?

Kylo Ren ordered the slaughter of all those villagers on Jakku and was a leading figure in the First Order that regularly destroyed planets. But Leia and Han were all ' Come back home Ben we want you ' and Rey is in love with him ' I did want to take your hand '.

Call me peculiar but I would have though Kylo Ren would have had a price on his head along with the tag ' To be killed on sight '.

I hate Ren. Hated Vader too. Good villains.

Why do fans have a problem with Han and Leia wanting their son who they bore and raised back, but Like redeeming a father he never knew gets a pass? Vader slaughtered countless people for decades, and I've never heard a peep about people complaining about Vader's redemption.

I personally didn't like the romance between Kylo and Rey, but I understand the connection between them to a degree.

Oh the idea of Rey and Kylo being a Dyad in the Force was interesting but apart from the ' Peek-a-boo, I can see you ! ' linking they didn't do much with it.

Because he's a mass murderer. It's not "ok" just because he is THEIR son.

"Vader slaughtered countless people for decades, and I've never heard a peep about people complaining about Vader's redemption."

I would say you haven't been on a lot of message boards or talked to people who are fans of the franchise.

Anytime Kylo did anything that would get him a bounty, he was either in a further position of power or dead. His notable crimes were killing Han, and the only people that pissed off were the Rebels. They certainly wanted to kill him on sight, but he was protected by an army and Snoke. When he took out Snoke, he ascended to the top spot, and the only one who even tried to challenge him was Hux, who is too weak to do anything. So I'm sure in certain circles he was a very wanted man, but in his insular community of the First Order, he called the shots, and there was no one powerful enough to make a play.

As for Han and Leia, they were blinded by their blood connection, and while not respectable, it's not really that unrealistic.
