Yes! You explained it well.
I thought the concept was interesting and I was entertained. They clearly set it up for a part 2 and I would watch it. But please hire better writers for the dialogue. It seemed so forced. Jeez Mackie character was really annoying and half the crap he said to Baccarin was so dumb. It was like the script was originally made for a video game.
My only question is how Baccarin was able to locate Mackie to save his life? How she get there that quick and that very spot?
I just watched it. It was ok but gawd I hated the Tina character. She was so useless. And why are wizards so threatened by muggles? Wizards can rebuild and destroy cities!!
I just watched this and asked the very same thing. It's like the plot point with mutants and humans in Xmen.
I died when he wheeled out Uncle Frank and he chuckled after hearing the joke again.
House, M.D.
Midsommar. So many scenes disturbed me yet I own the film and really like Ari Aster films.
Yes. Watched it and the sequels and won't watch any again. Especially the sequel with the scene with the baby. The dude with the glasses, how do they find these people???
Just an idiot and probably in on it
It was good. I did predict the ending. I also kept thinking why didn't Nasa or whatever
entity running the mission try to help and why wouldn't there be backups replicas.
How did Amazon ruin IMDB?
Heck, where is Spawn!!?
Well shucks, me too! Loved the first. The second not so much but, like you said, it grew on me too.
...or Howard the Duck!!
Pandering indeed.
Maybe there are good ones, I am just done with the genre and the remakes over remakes.
I will admit I am a sucker for Guardians of the Galaxy though.
Bollucks!!! No way this beat Darkman!!
Ditto, Gary Goldman. Fifth Element is my favorite movie.
Exactly, word for word, what I thought when I first saw it!! I thought I was the only one!
I kept wondering, for a superhero movie with so much hype, why the CGI was so poor!
Anywho I pretty much lost all interest in superhero movies. Especially after this one.
Even after the therapy, why was Suzanne still so attached to Mae and didn't send her to Vermont already.
Was she a harpy, siren, or banshee??
