Then why do artist make so much money still by being in them? terrible logic. You don't care about music videos anymore, others. Lots and lots of others do.
fascinating, I still don't agree with the OP. what he does works for him and that's that. Maybe he'll switch it up within the right role some day but for now he's doing just fine in my book.
I'd say the reason Chris still wanted Jamie in the end is because of what I'd call the real message of this movie. "Always be yourself, and never be afraid to put yourself out there". Chris said himself that Jamie brought the best out of him and she did.
Without her in the picture anymore he still had all of that anger in him as an adult, and he went on taking it out on everyone around him. Taking better care of his body in the process a long the way wasn't a bad thing at all, but like Samantha James character, he was obsessed with trying to be anything but who he really was..and that's why a relationship between those two was never going to work out even if they tried.
Neither one of them knew who the real Chris or Samantha was but Jamie knew who the real Chris was, as did his mom, and his old friends, Darla and Clark. Chris needed them badly back in his corner, and I'm sure Samantha had some people out there some where too that she needed but sadly we didn't get to learn more about her story since it wasn't about her, and we never got a sequel focused on her which I think would have been amazing around that time period.
Or you can go away since she's supposedly outside of your radar, but we both know you'll be back.
Sounds like ya'll just wanted this to be a goofy comedy all the way through, which it kinda was, but not the way you wanted it to be. It's an army movie ffs. Sure the training-graduation stuff was fantastic, but imo the rest of the movie was good too. There needed to be a little seriousness in there when it came time to actually stepping out of training to go do the real deal in putting their lives on the line.
Yet some of you are saying they weren't ready? How do you think they graduated in the first place? They weren't just training to do that hilarious exhibition of dance moves/army gun twirling. They were getting prepared to become fully ready to go to battle when their names are called upon. It would have been nice to see some more of that along with everything else but hey, it was a comedy 7.5 out of 10 for me.
Yet here you are talking about her. For 2 days straight now. Not on your blip huh? ha. I'm sure you would be surprised that people outside of your bubble think differently than you.
Seems like you're taking it personal that other people still like her work. Oh well.

You're a baby. Comedians have said way worse and got no backlash from it. Cry all you want though. I wont be going back and forth with you any further.
Ya'll are a bunch of crybabies. Jamie Foxx is a comedian, so obviously he was joking here.
For me she'll always be remembered for Buffy, but other than that her film choices really weren't that memorable. She had a great look, and pulled off the fighting decent enough, or atleast the parts she did while maybe a stunt double did the rest. I really don't know, but anyway my point still stands.
Buffy was what put her on the map, but then just about every other film she picked after that fell flat to most. Most of the top films she's in has nothing to do with her performance because she's hardly on the screen in them like Dude Where's My Car or Big Daddy. Imo she should have played a role on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV Show.
As much as I liked Katharine Towne as the character, I think it could have been that much better if Kristy Swanson had played the role with a few minor changes made to the character to make it work for her age at the time, and then fully go all out with the original plot that the character was supposed to be a Slayer that was turned into a Vampire.
Heck Kristy could have been great as Super Girl also. Things like that, mixed in with some better selections from various other genres..but hey. Just my opinion.
If you ask me shows like Black Mirror, the Twilight Zone or the Outer Limits shouldn't be judged by seasons because of the fact that there's very little (if any) continuation through each episode unlike the usual tv show that focuses on 1 story. So i view them as mini short movies.
After seeing all of the episodes that's been released so far, some episodes are really great/memorable to me like USS Callister and San Junipero, some are bad, and there's episodes that I enjoyed but then hated the ending like the Miley one. that ending made no sense to me what so ever...but yeah. Anyway you get the point.
It goes to show you what some of these regular women out there could look like if they had Mariah Carey money.
Reynolds was using that sarcastic/witty schtick long before he ever appeared on the screen as Dead Pool. You casuals are something else.
You're not an adult, you're an idiot plain and simple who clearly knows nothing about this movie. Bye now.
Yeah well boo hoo. He switched it up as he got older and did some silly comedies among other things. That doesn't mean his career died, it just means you lost interest in it. Which isn't exactly a big deal because you're just one person with 1 opinion. You're not saving anyone at all. Many loved Meet the Parents, Grudge Match to name another, and I personally thought DeNiro was pretty damn good in The Intern, The Irish Man, and Heist.
I don't need to go back and watch anything. I own the movies, and have watched it already recently so save it. Oz was a dog before his feelings growing for Heather helped make him a better man. You go back and see it for yourself clown.
Fair rating imo.
I liked the movie. So yes, yes I do. Puts the picture on the trending front. Question is does the guy who dislike this movie want to contribute to keeping said movie they call "quite bad" on the trending block by replying again?
Your move pal.
I thought so at first too, but after seeing the whole movie I get now why she was able to do that.
The Rocks character held back because she's secretly his mamacita.
