go away clown. go away. Pretty sure they were in their 20s, and imo looked young enough to play those parts. That's really all that matters if you ask me, and especially to cast directors back then who wanted to pick experienced people rather than actual teens....No complaints from me. Why can't people just like a movie without all this political bs? fucking lame. It's a terrible movie because the characters 80s experience wasn't similar to yours? get bent wannabe critic. lol at badly scripted. Lets see you make a better script. Shut up. I'm over here watching Robert DeNiro movies and you're disturbing me. I implore you to stay away from that shit you been smoking, cause it's starting to make you think that you've seen videos that you haven't actually seen because they don't exist. Bye bye now. Robert Deniro is alive and well. Maybe one day you can enjoy his movies again when your mind is clear again. Good luck. Meanwhile like you said, I'm going to keep enjoying those movies all I want. It was just a football game. None of those fans would have rooted for any of the cons to get released back into society, but on the football field that day, in that moment that they switched sides to root for the cons. It was because the cons impressed them by continuing to play hard despite everything that was against them. The cons showed that they had heart while the majority of the guards showed that they were just there to take cheap shots and make a mockery of the sport. So that was that. Each and every one of those people were just as happy to see all of those cons returning to that bus to be sent back to their cells after the game. You're forgetting that 1. Apollo was past his prime 2. Apollo was just having a good time because as his manager said, "It was supposed to be a Exhibition" 3. Then Drago just went nuts on him out of no where in the middle of the fight by pounding over and over at him even after the bell sounded. That is how Apollo died. That boxing match didn't go the way any boxing match typically would go, it was turned into a street fight just to establish Drago as the Drago character as the villian of the story. I had no problem with Rocky finding a way to win because despite his size his character was always built as the guy who despite differences between him and his opponents physically, he always had that heart of a champion that would keep him going no matter what when he was fully into it. Apollo's death only added fuel to that too so it just worked. Instead of complaining about it on the internet, you could go to school and do whatever steps necessary to become a filmmaker, then put your own stories out there involving Asian man/White woman couples and whatever else you can think of. That's the only way anything gets done in this world. Don't cry about what someone else chooses to do. UncleRuckis agreed. I don't know why people are making such a big deal about it. They're adults, and they were all each other had, and yeah. They were both attracted to each other. Remain just friends for what? please... Any one here would do the same thing if they were in their shoes. You gotta make the best of things because you never know how much time you have left in this world. Rock has an ego, and he loves to crack jokes so it's a good chance that we may not see them do anything together again until they're 60 year old men regretting to each other that they couldn't work things out sooner, or maybe they'll never be on the same screen again. Either way both will be just fine. When it comes down to it they still have something out there together that'll never be forgotten by their fanbases. Fast 5. The stuff aftwards that they did was decent too imo, but if you ask me Fast 5 as a stand alone movie will forever be those two togethers legacy. Survive the Night starring him and Bruce Willis seems pretty mature to me. I just picked up a copy of it from Walmart a few days ago, but I haven't watched it yet. A netflix or hulu series would be great now. I thought it was a fun story with a great mix of over the top characters from both sides of the coin of what was going on in what the writers were presenting us. I wont give anything away but i'll say imo it was a good enough balance between seriousness and comedy. but yeah. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a comedy. I'm in agreement on liking both. They don't need to be put against each other. The second one is just as good imo. Yet you had to bring it up anyway. Why can't people just enjoy a movie like they did when they were a kid anymore. Just talking about the characters, action and story? nah you gotta yap about wokeness and shit. Than you really shouldn't post on internet review boards because 9 times out of 10 there's always going to be some words like that within these brutally honest reviews that people post on sites like this. Yours is no better considering again that you're on here telling others to forget about this and go watch the 2009 British version. Followed by you "rudely" dismissing everyone to "ignore you" just because you're clearly incapable of taking in what the other people has to say and actually remaining on topic of what you brought up in the first place. The Show. So yeah, that's your problem pal. When it comes down to it 15 minutes is long enough for most people to find out what the main story of a TV Show or Movie is going to be about, and it's enough time for most to make a decision on whether or not the characters and their relationships with one another is worth learning more about within that time frame. If none of this grabs the viewers interest by then than yeah. They're more than likely going to flip the channel or turn it off. Don't like it? too bad. That's the reality of the entertainment world. It's why a show can last over 10 seasons or getting cancelled as early as just 1 full season or even after just a couple of aired episodes. Goodbye now. Only person I see being rude here is you TruMovieFan. exatera didn't insult you what so ever or your opinion. He/she just simply gave their view on the show you brought up here, and now you're clearly (and rudely) dismissing them just because what he or she said doesn't match with what you think. To quote the movie "Life goes on". You're on here telling other people to forget about this modern version and go watch some British version just because it's better in your opinion. Is that not rude to the film maker? Guess you couldn't careless about that huh? nope. Anyway you carry on watching what you enjoy and others are going to do the same. I just finished watching this movie a moment ago (which is why I came here obviously) and I enjoyed every moment of it. Goodbye now.
