Does an argument HAVE to be convincing. How come in some cases it is necessary to PROVE the truth whereas in others someone's word is enough for it. In life, are MOST if not all "victories" essentially PYRRHIC ones? Why was his character so desperate to stalk and spy on that lady even if he knew... I never really understood people intentionally hurting others for "fun". Would you say this man is LUCKY? Is it human nature to at times NOT KNOW or even WANT TO KNOW SOME THINGS? Even if we are clever and are in fact perfectly law abiding citizens, members of the law... Do you think its entirely normal that we can't hook up and meet with famous celebrities? So he actually around 4 or so decades ago met Charles Manson while he was in prison, really? View all posts >

2 Keelai - REALLY? (I really liked Plan 9 From Outer Space (1959) and I gave that Ed Wood slice of classic trash 8/10 overall, no seriously. But B.E. I thought was lame all the way.) Speaking of "Battlefield Earth" (2000) (God, can you believe it this year that film will be a quarter of a century old, 25 years), samo, may I ask, how would you rate that movie, out of 10, if not a total 1? Well, yes, that too. :) But I was wondering why in life in general, it works like that. Dunno if anyone's mentioned this but immediately this thread brought up the opening of "Reservoir Dogs" (1992) film and the parts in it where Mr Pink played by Steve Buscemi talks about how he generally doesn't tip. Even if its something as small as one dollar extra. As for the last part, maybe I wouldn't, but I did on occasion question some of his actions, and kills for that matter. He also had a somewhat unusual role in "Sorted" (2000) (ooh, I dare you to see that strange early 00s rave music and drugs themed drama/thriller that's like a weird amalgamation of British drugs flicks ala Trainspotting and Human Traffic, Get Carter (1971), Lynch's "Blue Velvet" (1986) and "The Usual Suspects" (1995) and it also has one controversial sequence that yeah is as it is among other things in it). "He even has a wife and kids, can you believe that?!" Well, loads of people of various types have family, so actually this is not that hard to believe. And with him now being 80 years old though he still looks fir for his age physically. Kinda thought so, cheers. P.S. Some famous people WHILE famous do bad and criminal things and either get away with it, get put on some lists or get punished correctly, and some individuals like Trejo have done wrong BEFORE becoming famous and have learned and grown from it. I wonder though - what possessed Trejo to even become an armed robber in the first place and how did he secure himself a career since the 1980s as a result? To a degree and an extent, I can even see his robber past in some of the roles he plays convincingly. I think most people even younger ones today know who Charles Manson is, and especially since, he was referenced in Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in America" (2018) movie. For one. But do look up the story and inform me what you think, thanks. And him being famous these last decades (yep, after his release, he became a famous and wealthy Hollywood actor) means that its a story for the WORLD as well, not just (his) grand kids. Cheers for the last part fourlemons, haha. :) But I was also not in the mood for long posts. View all replies >
