So he actually around 4 or so decades ago met Charles Manson while he was in prison, really?

Granted, yeah, I know Danny Trejo before being an actor was a convicted armed robber (whilst we're on this subject, do you think he both HAS redeemed himself and can be totally forgiven for THOSE crimes of his, yes? And how did he manage to become an actor with such a record let alone become a world famous and successful one?) but it turns out while imprisoned he met the notorious serial killer Charles Manson.

Question is, given that man's arguably Hannibal Lecter-esque possible isolation, how did Trejo manage to get into contact with him, and who besides himself and pure luck made sure that he was safe, how could he know that Manson wouldn't pose a threat to him let alone end his life like that? Even if he was a robber and they might've been in similar cells?

And was that meeting between them pure coincidence or was it somehow arranged?

I don't know, but it's a story for the grand kids! Although he might be met with "Charles who?"

I think most people even younger ones today know who Charles Manson is, and especially since, he was referenced in Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in America" (2018) movie. For one.

But do look up the story and inform me what you think, thanks. And him being famous these last decades (yep, after his release, he became a famous and wealthy Hollywood actor) means that its a story for the WORLD as well, not just (his) grand kids.
