I am surprised that people like it that much. It is an average movie in my book. Nothing overwhelming. May be I've seen too many movies. Who knows?
I totally agree. It is a children's movie. As an adult you'd get bored watching it. In my opinion it is hugely overrated. It should be around 7 on imdb scoring.
Agreed. It's a great action movie that you could recommend it to be seen :)
Agreed. It was a very weak season. I thought it was only me hating this season, but it turns out I'm noy alone.
The movie is underrated. I understand why people didn't like it, but as a horror enthusiast I thought it was a decent horror. Don't be put off by low ratings. It is worth a watch if you like horror.
I didn't like it. I thought the start of the movie was good, but then the second half went down the hill big time. A lot of senseless action. It gave me a headache! I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.
I don't know if I'm intelligent or not. There are so many things to know that we don't know :) To cut it short I liked the movie a lot, but it doesn't mean I'm intelligent in any way. Just saying that we should be careful labeling people according to their tastes. It's too complex than it seems. We cannot categorize by this movie who is intelligent or not :)
I don't think the producers are that dumb. It was on purpose to show how big Hound is and to stress that they are brothers.
I've seen it and it was a good action flick. It wasn't a masterpiece by any way. The thing that bothered me was the fake Russian accent during the whole length of the movie. I was getting annoyed by the end of the movie. Action wise it was a decent action martial flick. Worth a watch in my opinion especially if you like martial arts :)
It started well but then it went flat because of cheesy action and poor acting.
There was no explanation in the movie about keeping the bodies in the water tanks, I am not sure if the bodies were dead or not? Later the scenes show the main character in one of the tanks, but then walking and acting alive. So I guess it was part of the procedure while the bodies were kept alive.
I am still confused because in the first scene most of the bodies looked dead. Maybe just some people survived the procedure? I don't know because it wasn't explained enough in the movie.
I like the slow build up into the story, but then at 1 hour mark I thought it was too slow, even if I didn't mind it. Overall I enjoyed the movie and I agree that it shouldn't have been that long. Nowadays the attention span of people is so short unfortunately :)
That's what I understood, it was the girl from the picture that was aging very slowly due to the syrup. It was mentioned about the eels that they could live longer in that area. In the movie the eels were forced into human bodies by doctors, then through a machine the syrup was collected. I thought this was the creepiest part of the movie :)
Not the main role but he's been appearing through the whole movie.
Yes, the score will go down. It started with 9 and now it's 8.6.
Agreed 100%
I don't think it will flop as the theatres are packed with people to watch it in IMAX. I personally didn't enjoy Dunkirk. I don't know what people see in it.
I loved Hacksaw Ridge and hated Dunkirk. Dunkirk is over hyped in my opininion.
Just watched it and totally agree. It is a very weak movie. I didn't enjoy it at all.
I thought it was a bit rushed. They could've spent more time on the intro explaining more about the Belko concept. They could've shown what they've been doing for a year before the experiment. They could've created an eerie feeling that something was dodgy about the Belko company increasing the tension.
The storyline was good, but it seemed rushed the way it was executed.
