One thing I didn't get...

What were the water tanks with dead bodies in them? Pembroke was in one, but later appeared alive again.

Yeah, I forget what those things are actually called but it was sort of like a suspended animation type of thing. Like a test tube but for human people. I'd have to watch the movie again to know exactly but of course the doctors at the clinic were experimenting on humans.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/PbrqkNFNY-8

There was no explanation in the movie about keeping the bodies in the water tanks, I am not sure if the bodies were dead or not? Later the scenes show the main character in one of the tanks, but then walking and acting alive. So I guess it was part of the procedure while the bodies were kept alive.
I am still confused because in the first scene most of the bodies looked dead. Maybe just some people survived the procedure? I don't know because it wasn't explained enough in the movie.

I think the special water, as he mentioned kept those eels alive were also keeping the people that were there from dying and drying out. He did this so he could keep using them to filter out the water. Just my thoughts
