The People vs. Larry Flynt
as a materialist skeptic I see no reason(s) nor evidence to believe in reincarnation.
The Happy Wanderer was a good episode but no where near one of the best. Slightly below average, which is not saying it was bad, just not as good as so many others.
OK, I've narrowed it down. I am pretty pretty pretty sure it is from a scene in the Sopranos. Someone is being talked into agreeing to something, is about to go along and suddenly realizes he should not and exclaims
no NO
I haven't nailed down the exact character or episode, but perhaps soon.
supernatural entities like ghosts, satan, devil, lucifer, spirits, haunted house, possesed person, voodoo, etc. scary?
sometimes scary sometimes not, almost always STUPID
Lucy Liu doesn't begin to compare to Jane March or Shu QI
I have never been a big Lucy Liu fan. The one movie in which I simply adored her was the not so well known Wathcing the Detectives

I have come across 4 others that have made the "Serious Man" connection (elsewhere on the web)
The only thing I could think of is a similarity to the opening of the Coen Bros. Movie a Serious Man
A scene like what you're describing takes place in Tom Cruise vehicle Cocktail
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it is not Cocktail. A crime politics or law drama most likely.
Carrie Pilby comes to mind.
Two from the sixties that I re-watch every time I get a chance:
Support Your Local Sheriff
(Starring James Garner with on of the best cast in any movie in any genre)
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
(Starring Don Knots
'atta boy luther
3/10 very disappointin
"It's a tradition"
It is a tradition for my daughter and myself every Passover.
"How was that even legal."
Legal ?? Remember Traci Lords????
one: FARGO
(many others of course, but Coen bro movies especially)
so the fable says
The night before was very very good. I was very pleasantly surprised with how good The Night Before was.
Office Christmas party was no where near as good as The Night Before. It just tries to hard and fails.
AAHHAA
Upon a recent rewatching, Greg clearly says at the beginning of the movie that "he made a film that literally killed someone"
The tipoff was there from the beginning. Y'all (and me) missed it.
Indeed, I have claimed that this is the finest crafted work of cinematography ever and I still maintain that opinion (citizen kane not withstanding)
