I’ve seen 132! Yes, as a kid I went to my grandfather’s and great-grandmother’s funerals. And as an adult I went to my husband’s friend’s funeral; he had overdosed. It is sort of shocking to look at a dead body. The waxy-looking skin. The almost-sleeping look. I saw it in the theater at age 13, knowing nothing about it. I remember hiding my face in my mom’s shoulder during the scary parts. Lol Not personally, no. My mom is a dialysis nurse and some of her patients have caught it. Many of my favorites have already been listed, but here are some additional ones: Ponyo My Neighbor Totoro Black Beauty Ramona and Beezus Fly Away Home Chicken Run Coraline Prince of Egypt Kubo and the Two Strings The Great Panda Adventure Free Willy Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken Heavyweights The Mighty Ducks movies Fluke Freaky Friday Candleshoe The Trouble with Angels Rigoletto Duncan Checks In Heidi Peter Pan (2003) Hook Space Camp Charlotte’s Web Stuart Little Little Women (1994) All Dogs Go to Heaven The Chipmunk Adventure Who Framed Roger Rabbit The Pagemaster Benji the Hunted Beethoven 1 and 2 I’m a technical writer and work completely remotely. I’m an introvert so I love it; as long as I meet my deadlines, no one bothers me. Well, my daughter’s 5, so here are hers: Frozen I and II Tangled Cinderella The Little Mermaid Moana It's still one of my favorite family films. I'll watch it when I need some cheering up. ER Fawlty Towers Breaking Bad Dexter Seinfeld Cheers Harrison Ford after seeing Star Wars for the first time at 11. From then on I was watching all his movies. If you're still looking, you could also find some of the classic Sesame Street movies and specials. Follow That Bird, a feature length film Christmas Eve on Sesame Street Don't Eat the Pictures A Muppet Family Christmas My toddler loves Elmo, but she loves these pre-Elmo classics as much as I do. We also love the 40 Years of Sesame Street collection. It's hours long, so I think it's definitely worth the price, and it's neat to see the early clips from before I was even born, and to see how much the show has evolved over the decades. People (certain people) complain about everything. I love the 1985 one, I grew up watching it, so I'll always appreciate that one. This new one has a markedly different tone, I think, and veers off a bit from the original story in some places, in order to flesh out the characters and add to the plot. So it's hard for me to directly compare the two. I think the Megan Follows one is more directly faithful to the source novel, but the new one is a worthy reinterpretation of the story, beautifully shot, and worth watching. I have one episode left and I agree, it's very good! It took me a while to adjust to some of the darker themes, but I think it's balanced with a good amount of humor. I hate Passa... Passa... Pasta fagioli. They all deserve to have... Whatever they have! 10 pots seawater? No wonder they love it. Gogan: yeah, we scratch your back, you scratch ours! Doc terminus: (look of revulsion) Sympathetic: Alex - seemed the most conflicted and guilt-ridden. Jessica - bitchy but really screwed up by her trauma / denial over her trauma. Tyler - a creepy peeping tom but he's bullied and treated cruelly through the whole show. Sheri - tries to atone for her bad decision. The nicest one overall. In the middle: Ryan - smarmy and acts in his own self-interest. Justin - seems genuinely remorseful about Jessica near the end. Zach Not sympathetic: Bryce, obviously. Marcus - just a creep, never seemed sorry. Courtney - ugh, a cowardly, selfish backstabber. Why do you suppose Tyler was looking at pictures of all the others, and then took down Alex's? Could Tyler have been involved in Alex's supposed suicide attempt or something? That sounds so heartbreaking. Props to her for her performance. I also liked him in "Big Girls Don't Cry...They Get Even" You might enjoy some of these: Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken The Journey of Natty Gann Fluke Homeward Bound
