Great news, hopefully Mel will now get to direct his Vikings epic that got canned post 2006.
the end of woke hollywood? :)
Just watched it First time (Talking Pictures UK channel) and pretty shocked at how close to Terminator 1984 it was
The relentless stalking of the sarah connor like girl in the hospital
The end of him blown up/on fire in the truck he's totally dead fake out, then rising again (to take on chuck norris, so even back in the 80s the 'chuck norris meme' must've been abit of thing lol)
The way the bad guy was filmed, he even looked abit like T1 Arnie in some scenes (with slick back hair/perspiration face)
Obviously it was made as a 'Michael Myers vs Chuck Norris' a mash of the popular slasher genre and action genre (and also slight superhero elements of The Incredible Hulk TV series, Superman movies, and maybe XMen comics at the time) but watching it now def feels more 'Terminator' (which was obviously heavily inspired by the then current slasher/horror genre with a scifi twist)
Silent Rage Kills (2025)
Silent Rage Ends (2026)
I could see Rosanna Arquette if there'd been HQ in B89

I always thought nimoy very slightly resembled Richard Gere lol (like a taller more academic looking version )
At least 2
How do you think we got advanced tech like smart phones etc so early
I guess Kim Catrall would've been a consideration but she was probably busy with Police Academy

Well she was in Catwoman the movie , but 1992 Stone as Catwoman in BR would've been amazing (with Michelle Pfeiffer in Basic Instinct)

The director said he was happy with the film and called it his best so far. Muschietti also touched on the PR crisis the film had due to Ezra Miller’s legal problems amid his mental health struggles.
“When you make a film, there are things that are out of your control, and one of those is when an actor has a PR crisis,” Muschietti said.
Muschietti adds that he had no issues with Miller, saying, “I had a great experience with him as an actor. He is a great comedian, and he surprised me a lot.”</blockquote>
With Batman Forever id say he was for a while, The Saint, Red Planet were Kilmer leading films
Kim Basinger
Michelle Pfeiffer
Elle McPherson
Nicole Kidman
In a way it was the biggest, it had the potentially the biggest stakes in any IJ film (next would be Raiders) and the biggest budget by far
I just seen it, it was OK, but yeah basically a kids/family movie. Not a boarderline R rated supernatural comedy action movie with 4 guys and smokin mid 30s Ripley and getting BJs off hot blonde ghost girls lol
I just seen it, it def felt more like a GB movie than the last which was like GB meets Goonies/Stranger Things
And they made him look like 1960s Michael Caine
Maybe had added 'take me too' he'd have been watching earth get fried from space as Beethoven played
