Great news, hopefully Mel will now get to direct his Vikings epic that got canned post 2006. the end of woke hollywood? :) Just watched it First time (Talking Pictures UK channel) and pretty shocked at how close to Terminator 1984 it was The relentless stalking of the sarah connor like girl in the hospital The end of him blown up/on fire in the truck he's totally dead fake out, then rising again (to take on chuck norris, so even back in the 80s the 'chuck norris meme' must've been abit of thing lol) The way the bad guy was filmed, he even looked abit like T1 Arnie in some scenes (with slick back hair/perspiration face) Obviously it was made as a 'Michael Myers vs Chuck Norris' a mash of the popular slasher genre and action genre (and also slight superhero elements of The Incredible Hulk TV series, Superman movies, and maybe XMen comics at the time) but watching it now def feels more 'Terminator' (which was obviously heavily inspired by the then current slasher/horror genre with a scifi twist) Silent Rage Kills (2025) Silent Rage Ends (2026) I could see Rosanna Arquette if there'd been HQ in B89 https://i.pinimg.com/736x/56/8e/41/568e41fa5dc6025e6868340be15e6124.jpg I always thought nimoy very slightly resembled Richard Gere lol (like a taller more academic looking version ) At least 2 How do you think we got advanced tech like smart phones etc so early I guess Kim Catrall would've been a consideration but she was probably busy with Police Academy Follow up https://www.startrek.com/en-un/news/making-of-star-trek-iii-the-search-for-spock-hardcover View all replies >
