Haven't seen it but I have hope because...

The commercial on TV for this movie said this is the biggest and best Indy adventure of all time

reply

Yes, and there was a TV commercial that said the same thing about Batman and Robin and that turned out to be the best Batman adventure of all time as well.

Well, that's certainly encouraging.

We are simply passing through history....this, this is history

It was the greatest Indiana Jones movie ever. I loved the Phoebe Waller Bridge character, she is a strong independent female character who doesn’t need a man to protect her. She knows how to put men in her place and I love the way she did that to Indy. Indy is a well established action adventure hero, he needs to be knocked down a notch.

Yes, we know you love liberal Hollywood

reply

Yes, liberal Hollywood is doing great things. Women and minorities have been oppressed throughout history and haven’t had the opportunities to be successful in Hollywood. Therefore it makes sense that Hollywood would use already established franchises dominated by white men to give strong female characters a chance to take the spotlight.

In a way it was the biggest, it had the potentially the biggest stakes in any IJ film (next would be Raiders) and the biggest budget by far
