I saw this tonight with four friends. There were 7 people total in the theater.

This movie is TERRIBLE. Terrible to the point that it's funny, but still terrible. The dialogue seems like it was written by a ten year old. The action is pretty good, except for the final battle.

The comedy and "one liners" are just bad. It's nearly on the same level as Collateral Damage.

It will probably be a cult classic because of how bad it is (ala Punisher: War Zone). I think people are giving it a free pass because it's Arnold. Anyone else makes this movie, it would be getting skewered right now. I'm excited he's back on the big screen too, but I swear, sometimes people have blinders on.

I saw both "Mama" and Last Stand last week. I cant believe Mama is number 1 in the box office right now. That movie was boring and not scary whatsoever. Yet this generation of people these days obviously don't understand old school action movies anymore. Last Stand was 10X better than MAMA and I don't get why its got higher ratings than Last Stand. Yes Arnold is aging but this is definitely a nice "Welcome Back Arnold" type of movie and deserves better from the critics.

Well, I liked it better than I liked Zero Dark Thirty. I liked Arnold, the small town, Fo Whittacker, the sad part where the brother dies, the cars, the scene in the cornfield, even the safely stylised violence, oh and nice to see HDS again. Plus it was over in about 90 mins.

ZDT, omg, nearly 3 mofo hours waiting for an undercooked final raid where the producers were too scared to actually show OBL being shot dead. And they didn't show the White House Scene which is almost as iconic as the raid itself. The Maya character turned into such a pain...especially when she was writing the days in red ink on the walls.

So there. Bring it on Arnold.

Along time fan of Arnie and Kim Jee-Woon (A Bittersweet Life is in my top 5 Korean movies)
And really enjoyed it. Terrible will be very further from the truth.

yeah his 1 liners sucked. but it was a fairly typical shoot em up car chase action movie. i gave it a 6 for being just above average. the 3 or 4 hot chicks looked too much alike too. decent fight at the end with the grappling...

Also everyone seemed to love it in the theater!

It seems to be an issue of people looking for a fun movie vs. people looking for a competent action film. You can tell Arnie has his fan base by the rating. People demand more, and Mama was a different film...TLS is an obvious popcorn film, while Mama had suspense, build up, and it was more atmosphere than graphic fear. This was a miss, and face it, Arnie has had some.
