I saw this tonight with four friends. There were 7 people total in the theater.

This movie is TERRIBLE. Terrible to the point that it's funny, but still terrible. The dialogue seems like it was written by a ten year old. The action is pretty good, except for the final battle.

The comedy and "one liners" are just bad. It's nearly on the same level as Collateral Damage.

It will probably be a cult classic because of how bad it is (ala Punisher: War Zone). I think people are giving it a free pass because it's Arnold. Anyone else makes this movie, it would be getting skewered right now. I'm excited he's back on the big screen too, but I swear, sometimes people have blinders on.

How is the directing? I can assume the writing is bad, but the director is a korean director and his korean films are amazing.

I had the feeling I was watching an over-the-top Quentin Tarrantino film. I enjoyed it :)

Dude, how about you don't critique a fun action movie like it's supposed to be the next Godfather.

It's a damn action movie! You don't watch it for in-depth plot, or brilliant scirpts (but to be fair, the script was very realistic). You watch it for the ACTION

Fun with likable characters makes a good movie to me. If that's not what you want out of a film that's fine, but before writing something off as terrible you should realize ppl want different things out watching and making movies, a movie that's not for you doesn't make it bad.

Completely agreed. Too many people write a movie off as bad just because they didn't like it as if their "opinion" was final.

I don't know where or when this type of self-entitlement started, but it's totally childish and makes the person look like a stupid troll.

This squirrel on my shoulder just told me to *beep* off!

I agree with the free pass because it´s Arnold. I enjoyed the film a lot, but in part, because I got to see one of my heroes again. If you take Arnold away, the film is quite mediocre.

I liked this movie a lot. It had a simple story and everything that happened made sense. The radar gun showed over 190 MPH - it was the modified supercar! How did the bad guys get through the roadblock? A modified dumptruck! The action all felt practical, but above all - the people in Arnold's town (especially Arnold himself) were honorable. They were unafraid and could not be bought. THIS IS NOT REALISTIC. IT IS IDEALISTIC. But it is honorable and inspiring.
