How do people find this funny? The amount of sex, fart and dick jokes make it the perfect movie for 15 year olds. How the *beep* does this have an 8.4? It's rated higher than cinema masterpieces like Pan's Labyrinth and A Fistful of Dollars.
There should be a minimum voting age on this site.

Arguing about which movies are good and which are bad is pointless, taste is entirely personal and people get different things out of movies for different reasons.
I actually love both movies. Pan's Labyrinth is such a strong, emotional and imaginative story, I was completely taken by it while watching it, it's a great movie.
Deadpool is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, it's just pure and crude awesomeness.
Given the box office numbers and high rating on here, most people disagree with you about Deadpool.
I get why you don't like it. No such thing as "humor made for everyone." I think some people went into this movie with too serious of a mindset.
Masterpiece is an artist's best work. So this certainly is Del Toro's masterpiece.

It's just the fact that a superhero film that did this that makes people so amazed. I bet if the same jokes were in a regular summer comedy it would be rated around 5 on IMDb and have a 20% on Rotten Tomatoes.

shareI agree. The fact that people find this film funny truly is sad. I don't think there should be a minimum voting age though. You really can't take any film rating too seriously on here, or anywhere. I gave this film a 3/10. When I saw the film in the theater, I heard two laughs the entire movie. That was it. I'm not sure who is rating this so high, but it does seem like some sort of joke. The new Star Wars was a pretty average film too though, and it's around the same rating. It was better than Deadpool, but still it wasn't anything even remotely special. Is someone paying IMDb to rate certain films so high, are the movie production companies themselves hiring loads of people to mess with the ratings on here. I'm not sure, they certainly have the money to do it. This film was the one of the most pseudo smart movies I've ever seen. Many young people seem to think this is fresh, yet almost nothing in this film was new at all.

I could go on and on you know that not all what he says has to be funny he just never shuts up. I did not laugh at al of it but i watched it 3 times now and each time i saw something new or found a nother angle on why a joke was funny.
Like the dick crown francis is wearing on his board. Didn't see that the first time. Or the refresher in dopinder his car is also in the bad guys car and in the opening credit's.
And the opening credits alone is worth the 8 for this movie.

shareI laughed harder at you posting all these scenarios that you thought were funny then I did throughout the whole movie. The zamboni part made me chuckle a little bit, but no most of the movie and everything else on your list was not funny at all. The movie was annoying and very boring. Go ahead and tell me that is all my opinion. I see so many people crying about opinions. This is a discussion board intended for you to come and write your opinion about the movie. I am sorry if I seem a little bit upset, it is because I am. So many of my co/workers, friends, even customers at my job said this movie was awesome. Even went as far as to say it is their favorite movie so I watch it thinking I am going to be entertained only to find out that so many people around me have the sense of humor of a 13 year old.

I agree, these marvels movies are for teenagers. It's not really funny most of the time.
Don't get me wrong it s usually entertaining movies, no big flaws, but nothin special about them either. Rated this one 6 as most of them.

shareI know you will not believe this, but this is probably Marvel's most accurate depiction of a superhero since Blade, based on their source, which RR co-starred in, making this his 4th turn as a superhero, second as Wade Wilson... Not knowing anything about Deadpool who has always kind of been a darker, mouthier Spiderman with no alter, could be offputting seeing him in action the first time. I consider this to be the best Marvel adaptation since Blade, which I put above every X Man movie. And Wolverine was pretty damned good. I laughed through this entire movie, because it delivered Deadpool accurately in my estimation. Mouthy and psychopathic.
