The World's End was refreshing, hilarious, deep, smart, dynamic and touching at the same time.
How the hell that stupid, pointless movie about idiot celebrities is better than this movie?
Pineapple Express was funny, but This is the End is not even close to it.
I also noticed a pretty big difference in age demographics comparing these movies. Maybe this explains everything.
I've seen both and I regard The World's End to be without a doubt much better. This Is The End has some very VERY funny LOL type of moments here and there. But The World's End is funny throughout.

It's two very different styles IMO and some of the younger generation doesn't really understand At World's End (Which had almost a Goonies like feel to me). I just watched it with a couple of friends and neither of them seemed to find it all that entertaining... but they liked This is the End a lot. I really like them both, but At World's End hit me a little harder with it's messages. I really felt like a kid again watching it... This is the End didn't really do that. Also, I appreciated the humor in this movie, but I found This is the End more lol funny.

Did you actually see This Is The End? I thought it was a pleasant surprise. I mean, I preferred The World's End but it had its moments. If you didn't laugh at at least a few things ("It's like Neapolitan ice cream"), then you must've gone into that movie wanting to hate it.

Funny how all these "enlightened" people have so little to discuss aside from tedious America-bashing. I'm American, and yeah, we certainly do have our flaws, but from what I've seen, Euros are just as arrogant and so many of them bash the US, but have never met an American nor been to the States. So, please, ditch the righteous indignation because you're no better.
