Why are all US sports so boring?

The USA has given the world many great things in the fields of Technology,Fashion, Music,Film etc etc. However when it comes to Sports the US is a disaster.Basically, very few outside the US have any interest at all in a single sport that the Americans invented.Baseball- I believe only the Cubans and Japanese play or have any interest in it.American Football-popular nowhere outside the USA.Basketball-yes its popular in quite a few countries but mainly countries which are bad at soccer (Eastern Europe,China etc.In major European sporting countries like Germany, France, the UK its dead). Volleyball- a niche sport at best. The famous (in the USA)athletes who play these sports could walk naked down any street around the world and not get a second glance.

Soccer(football) is boring. The score is always 1-0

I don't watch sports. I mind baseball, hockey or football when someone else is watching them on TV. Soccer is unbearable for me.

Speak for yourself. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I will watch virtually any American sport except tennis, and I find nearly all of them exciting. You would need to duct-tape me to a chair and prop my eyeballs open with toothpicks and hold a gun to my head to make me watch even FIVE MINUTES of soccer. Which I and a number of my friends refer to as "Third World Kickball."

We think soccer is pretty boring so I guess that makes us even.

I know the Brits have avid cricket fans and most people who aren't informed of the sport would fall asleep during a match.

I agree with the comment

I actually quite liked this movie, although the whole thing did feel very similar to 'rounders' in my opinion.

Money-wise US is the best place to practice almost any sport. So there's a lot of talent in their Major Leagues. However IMO it's a bit boring because there's no relegation or read as a good punishment for having the worst season of the league. It's a bit risky since hundred of millions of dollars franchise might be put at stake but the thrill will be there.

But having monarchs or royalty like teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid is also boring. There should be a balance between both systems.

A salary cap so everyone has a fair chance, and a good punishment for bad seasons instead of ONLY rewarding them with first overall round draft picks.

Basketball is not boring, but NBA certainly has tried to limit its inherent appeal by outlawing zone defence which reduces the game's potential variety, overemphasizes the physicality and often turns the game into a series of one-on-one plays. Plus, of course, there's this recent trend of relying heavily on three pointers which makes the whole thing pretty monotoneous.
