Funniest moment ever?

When Gervais is shirking from the actor during the play as he tries to kiss him and Ian Mkellan is pushing his head back. Does anyone else think that this is the funniest comedy moment ever? Its like Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and Benny Hill all rolled into one with an extra helping of Wacky Races and a bit of Wallace and Grommit mixed in to boot. Its just brilliant visual humour.

Although, it only just beats the moment when Darren is trying to flush to no avail and then he resorts to using a kitchen utensil to mash it. Amazing.

Idea.

Imagine a sitcom centred around the exploits of Darren Lamb dating. Wouldn't that also be hilarious.

I love the Harry Potter episode the best..where Daniel is like "i've done it with a girl" LOL..that was awesome. The least funniest was the finale..man was that depressing and sad until the very end.

I have to say for me it was the moment where they are at the BAFTAs and the agent brings the doll and it won't stop saying the catchphrase until the old guy comes up and repeatedly keeps smashing it with his foot. I literally could not stop laughing. I was like..rolling on my bed laughing trying not be loud cause it was like 2 in the morning at my house. I couldn't stop it. even when i thought the joke was over..more and more kept happening..greatest moment for me.

I don't think the finale was supposed to be funny. It was a drama instead of comedy.

He ain't playin' God....he's bein' judged by him.

Patrick Stewart ".. but it's too late... because I've seen everything!"

Ian McKellan " I PRETEND to be a wizard... Sir Ian, Sir Ian, Sir Ian (wizard) YOU SHALL NOT PASS! Sir Ian, Sir Ian, Sir Ian..."

Laughing as I type.

Hilarious show - my favourite moment was the journalist's interview with Andy at his house, and he gets Maggie to pretend to be his PA. Nearly pissed in my pants.

"3 hours"
"He's a wanker"
"Oh no, he plays darts all the time"

reply

Definitely the Patrick Stewart scene.

"So it's mainly just you going around and seeing ladies' tits?"
"Mainly."

theres so many but i like the whole sequence when andy is trying to remember his hair/makeup ladies name.

I was laughing even at the actual show "When the Whistle Blows" because of how cliche and stupid it was....when Ray does a couple of spit takes then tries to do another but there was no more coffee/water in his mug, that was great.."Chris Martin from Coldplay! What are you doing here? Its mental!"

also, I don't recall the talk show hosts name but the guy that Andy had that sequence with of them being best friends, laying out in the sun and having water gun fights...that was hysterical

I didn't see the gay genie mentioned yet

and the gay play....you could see how uncomfortable Andy was the entire time, it was great

Kate Winslet dressed as a nun: "I'm fudding myself stupid and I'm bloody loving it".
Andy: "Kate Winslet talking dirty to Anne Frank and Joseph Goebbels. It's just another normal day"

Later same episode
Andy: "Jesus, look. Pissed up nutter over there. She's had a few. Actually, is she pissed or mental?"
Suzanne: "It's my sister. She's got cerebral palsy"

reply

The part that had me literally struggling for air, screaming laughter that went through walls, etc was when that Extra was trying to be friends with Andy. I forget the exact words but Andy says this guy trying to 'go out' with him was 'a bit weird and he might be a mental case', the guy gets all offended and walks away and Andy is struggling with his words because he feels bad.

"Doesn't mean I say penis when I mean to say penis! I mean penis! Car! Penis! Car!"

reply

I like "When the Whistle Blows". I think all the characters inside are funny and I am attracted by the retro feel of it.
And yes the 'gay genie'
Ben Stiller demonstrates how to hit the old lady.
Daniel Radcliffe asking back for the condom.

The scene with Andy choking on that bottle, obviously. That was epic.
Anything with Darren and Barry.
McKellen explaining acting to Andy.
Andy to his agent about McKellen's play: " ... it's, it's, it's so gay!"
Ben Stiller demonstrating how to club that woman with an AK-47 and her reactions. Priceless!
For some reason I always liked the scene during the BAFTA's where after Andy's boring ex-girlfriend publicly humiliated him, she's been dragged away but comes back for a moment and says: "PRICK!"

reply

I love Bunny;s line.... The little bastards pinched me watch....

And Les Dennis.... Is that funny? spech....

Epic....

I love the scene in the Daniel Radcliffe episode when Andy and Darren are discussing Darren's brand new 52" Plasma TV set. That scene makes me laugh every time I see it.

When Andy bumps into his ex at the BAFTA awards.

Maggie: "How'd you know her?"
Andy: "I went out with her for a while when I was an extra on Holby City."
Maggie: Oh! (looks sad) And then she dumped you?"
Andy: "No I dumped her."
Maggie: "You dumped her?"
Andy: "Yes!"
Maggie: "Really?"
Andy (annoyed): "Yes, it does happen!"
Maggie: "When was this?"
Andy: "Couple of years ago."
Maggie: "Was this before or after you lost your virginity to the woman who looked like Ronnie Corbett?"
Andy: "After obviously, it was two years ago!"
Maggie: "So you lost your virginity a long time ago?"
Andy (angry): "Yes! I'm in my forties..."
Maggie: "But when, exactly?"
Andy: "A long time ago."
Maggie: "But what age?"
Andy: "Oh I dunno."
Maggie: "Sixteen? Seventeen?"
Andy shakes his head.
Maggie (pityingly): "Were you older than that?"
Andy: "Oh what's all these questions? I lost my virginity, full-stop!"
Maggie (innocently) : "Why were you attracted to Ronnie Corbett?"
Andy: "I wasn't attracted to Ronnie Corbett, she just happened to look like Ronnie Corbett...It was the bank's Christmas do, I was drunk."
Maggie: "At the bank's Christmas do?"
Andy (grinning): "Yeah."
Maggie: "But you didn't start working there til you were 28!"
And: "Oh who are you, Columbo?! Leave it!"

reply

The whole Daniel Radcliffe condom thing was funny imo
"Can I have my Johnny back?"

"I can't help it If I wanted to, I wouldn't help it even If I could"
