The last good Schwarzenegger movie?
I think so.
It was his last classic.
shareIs Eraser really a classic? I would say it's a decent action film but nothing more than that. I remember being somewhat disappointed when I saw it in the theater and I feel no desire to revisit it today.
shareOne of the things that endeared the film to me were the one-liners.
Arnie: I didn't know treason was part of the corporate strategy.
Arnie talking to a dead alligator: You're luggage.
The final one-liner sealed it for me...
Bad guys in a limousine get hit by a train.
Woman: What happened?
Arnie: They caught a train.
Terminator 3 was his last good movie it's so underrated because of the self parody but I think he was great in it and physically great before he got really old...
shareIt'd been a while since I saw Collateral Damage and even longer since I saw End of Days, but I remember liking both.
I remember liking Escape Plan too from his newer bunch.
Collateral Damage was very generic. I was really disappointed with that one.
End of Days at least had character and didn't feel like a movie you had already seen 1000 times before, but I tried rewatching it a couple of years ago and didn't even finish it.
Escape Plan is at least one his better post-Governator movies, as is the underrated Sabotage.
I haven't seen it in ages, but I remember End of Days being solid.
This is on Pluto right now. IT's definitely underrated. I always enjoyed it and it's definitely the tail end of the peak of the action genre.
I would say Collateral is the last good one. I liked it more than Eraser.
I would also add T-3, as controversial as that may be.
T3 is decent action movie, but it suffers greatly by comparison to its predecessors. If it weren't a Terminator movie it would probably have at least somewhat of a better reputation.
