Does OJ Simpson kind of ruin your enjoyment of the movie now
I mean the movies are funny don't get me wrong, but OJ kind of ruins it for me now. I just feel strange watching it.

shareLet's just say that the final scene takes on a whole new meaning.

It feels different. Not ruined, just different based on what he did later in life.
shareDoesn't take away from my enjoyment in the slightest.
Nor do I feel bad when I enjoy music Phil Spector produced, and if I see reruns of Baretta on TV, I don't switch channels in disgust.
I'm a bad person.
Never defend crap with "It's just a movie"

It doesn't bother me much, I grew up watching the films, and O.J's roles are minimal. I do get reminded he is in the film whenever I watch it, and remember all the *beep* with him, but you know what, it's not an O.J movie, he's just in it.
I didn't like a certain other person who died not that long ago, but I still watch Men In Black, or part 2? Seeing as how that whacko is only it for a few seconds. Can't let one person destroy the good performances of others.
Who was in Men in black that you didn't like???
2014: The Year the Ultimate Warrior FINALLY gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

did I say it bothered me?
shareOJ doesn't ruin the movie for me. I've loved this movie since it was new (I was 8), and I still love it.
Of course it is soooo much funnier when you're an adult
Listen! Do you smell something?
Not at all. Hes putting extra joy in it as his role is so absurdly funny. And watching the movie i dont care for his private life at that moment
shareI thought society had reached a point when having an African-American person in a film wouldn't ''ruin the enjoyment''. I mean even in '88 that shouldn't be a big deal, but today? come on... There are plenty of black actors and some of them have given excellent performances, if having a black person in a film ruins the enjoyment for you just go watch 3rd Reich films.
shareI couldn't care less that OJ is in the movie, but than again I couldn't care less that he murdered anyone, and how anyone can't laugh at he's opening scene I don't know.
