Does OJ Simpson kind of ruin your enjoyment of the movie now

I mean the movies are funny don't get me wrong, but OJ kind of ruins it for me now. I just feel strange watching it.

reply

Are you kidding? O J tortured? What could possibly be funnier?

reply

nah, he wasn't in it that much. he was actually tortured and forced to sniff frank's butt.

reply

He somewhat did but overall the film already feels very outdated and unfunny, so not all of the blame goes for him, this time.

reply

OJ was overcharged and abused in Nevada.

reply

"OJ was overcharged and abused in Nevada." Most of the country believed he literally got away with murder, so his prosecution and sentence in Nevada was literally a "make up call." Legally, his sentence couldn't have been based, even partially, on crimes he was acquitted of, but judges do illegal things all the time without admitting what they're doing and coming up with fabricated, supposedly legal bases to justify their conduct.
O.J.'s rank stupidity proved his undoing. With 2/3 of the country salivating at the thought of seeing him in jail, he handed himself to them on a silver platter. For a few mementos and to assuage his frail ego.
Regardless of whether one believes he was, or was not, guilty of two murders, he was definitely guilty of being felony stupid.

reply

No. No at all for me.

It is still a damn funny movie.

reply

Nope

reply

Nope. I'm a fan of The Juice, so I love them.

reply

Why should it? I mean, it's not like he really did it or anything.

But seriously, while his presence in the movie does give this strange feeling, he doesn't ruin it for me. Besides, he's only in a handful of scenes.

You want something corny? You got it!
