Since this movie eloquently portrays society as clearly divided into cliques, which one did you belong to?
(I know the intended point was to say they were not that easily stereotyped, but the movie totally does so nonetheless}.

I was none of these, I called bullshit but I also was nice and studied, but then I was also good looking and rich but then also sporty and nerdy and certainly weird and different and...well, as you can see, it's simpleminded to try and fit people into categories.
I wonder if in Huges universe more cliques exist or 5 is enough. Where would Ferris fit?
I mean, that's the point of the movie. Throughout the film, lines are blurred between the five characters, and we see that there is a social, outgoing side to Allison, there's a nice side to Bender, life isn't so perfect for the "Jock" or the "Princess" and so-forth.
Still, it's fun to identify with characters and figure out closest matches. You see this all the time with other shows - Star Trek, Mad Men, Cheers, what-have-you.
