Can't really compare Scarface to The Godfather. They are both masterpieces in their own right.

I think the only people who think Scarface is as good as/better than the Godfather are teenagers or wannabe gangstas. I'll always love this movie because I used to be a teenage boy who thought Tony was so bad ass but rewatching it these days, I'm embarrassed I thought it was such a masterpiece.

A couple of years I was observing a high school class and the teacher passed out a list of some organization's 10 or 20 greatest movies of all time. Some 17 year old kid was like "where is Scarface?!"
