Better than The Godfather?

no it doesnt even compare to copolla's masterpiece , but it's awesome , i may like it more than godfather , but it's not better , it's more entertaining though (just not a full form of art and masterpiece)
More fun to watch for sure, and I do prefer it.

then in your opinion it IS better as it don't make sense to say Scarface is worse but say it's got better re-watch factor as re-watch factor is what ultimately makes or breaks a movie in the long term in my mind.
p.s. for me personally... i think both have solid re-watch factor as i never rate movies any other way besides how much i enjoy them and how they are on re-watches as i am not going to praise a movie and then never care to see it again. i ultimately rate movies based on how enjoyable they are and the further they get away from that then the lower the rating.

I agree that it is more re-watchable comparing to The Godfather Trilogy, considering it was more "fun" and faster paced. But comparing the qualities of those films, I don't think Scarface is nowhere near The Godfather Trilogy. The Godfather is an almost 10 hour long Trilogy, has much more depth comparing to Scarface. It has numerous unforgettable characters that will always be among the literature, like Michael, Vito and Fredo Corleone. Scarface is more of a one man show. But I certainly think it deserved the best motion picture Oscar aswell as the best leading actor.
